🌷. తాత్పర్యం :

*ఓ పృథాకుమారా! నేనే సర్వప్రాణులకు సనాతనబీజముననియు, బుద్ధిమంతుల బుద్ధిననియు, శక్తిమంతుల శక్తిననియు తెలిసికొనుము.*

🌷. భాష్యము :

బీజమనగా విత్తనము, స్థావర, జంగమాది సమస్తజీవులకు శ్రీకృష్ణుడే బీజమై యున్నాడు. పక్షులు, జంతువులు, మనుజులు, పలు ఇతరజీవులు జంగమములు కాగా, వృక్షాదులు స్థావరములు. స్థావరములు కదలలేక కేవలము స్థిరముగా నిలిచియుండును. ప్రతిజీవియు ఎనుబదినాలుగులక్షల జీవరాసులలో ఏదియో ఒక రకమునకు చెందియుండును. వానిలో కొన్ని స్థావరములై యుండగా, మరికొన్ని జంగములై యున్నవి. అయినను అన్నింటికిని బీజప్రదాత శ్రీకృష్ణుడే. దేని నుండి సమస్తము ఉద్భవించునో అదియే పరబ్రహ్మము లేదా పరతత్త్వమని వేదవాజ్మయమునందు తెలుపబడినది. 

శ్రీకృష్ణుడే ఆ పరతత్త్వము మరియు పరబ్రహ్మమును అయి యున్నాడు. బ్రహ్మము నిరాకారము కాగా పరబ్రహ్మము మాత్రము సాకారము. భగవద్గీత యందు తెలుపబడినట్లు నిరాకారబ్రహ్మము పరబ్రహ్మమైన శ్రీకృష్ణుని యందు పతిష్టితమై యున్నది. కనుక శ్రీకృష్ణుడే సర్వమునాకు కారణమును మరియు మూలమును అయి యున్నాడు. వృక్షమూలము వృక్షమునంతటిని పోషించురీతి, సర్వమునకు సనాతనములమై యున్నందున శ్రీకృష్ణుడు జగమునందు సమస్తమును పోషించుచున్నాడు. ఈ విషయము కఠోపనిషత్తు (2.2.13) నందు కూడా నిర్దారింపబడినది. 

నిత్యోనిత్యానాం చేతన శ్చేతనానామ్ |

ఏకో బహూనాం యో విదధాతి కామాన్ 

నిత్యులైనవారిలో ప్రధానమైనవాడు అతడే. సమస్తజీవులలో దివ్యుడు అతడే. అతడొక్కడే సర్వులకు పోషించువాడై యున్నాడు. వాస్తవమునకు బుద్ధి నుపయోగింపక ఎవ్వరును ఏ కార్యమును చేయలేరు. అట్టి బుద్ధికి సైతము కారణము తానేనని శ్రీకృష్ణభగవానుడు పలుకుచున్నాడు. కనుకనే మనుజుడు బుద్ధిమంతుడు కానిదే దేవదేవుడైన శ్రీకృష్ణుని అవగాహన చేసికొనజాలడు.

*10. bījaṁ māṁ sarva-bhūtānāṁ viddhi pārtha sanātanam*

*buddhir buddhimatām asmi tejas tejasvinām aham*

🌷 Translation : 

*O son of Pṛthā, know that I am the original seed of all existences, the intelligence of the intelligent, and the prowess of all powerful men.*

🌹 Purport :

Bījam means seed; Kṛṣṇa is the seed of everything. There are various living entities, movable and inert. Birds, beasts, men and many other living creatures are moving living entities; trees and plants, however, are inert – they cannot move, but only stand. Every entity is contained within the scope of 8,400,000 species of life; some of them are moving and some of them are inert. In all cases, however, the seed of their life is Kṛṣṇa. As stated in Vedic literature, Brahman, or the Supreme Absolute Truth, is that from which everything is emanating. Kṛṣṇa is Para-brahman, the Supreme Spirit. 

Brahman is impersonal and Para-brahman is personal. Impersonal Brahman is situated in the personal aspect – that is stated in Bhagavad-gītā. Therefore, originally, Kṛṣṇa is the source of everything. He is the root. As the root of a tree maintains the whole tree, Kṛṣṇa, being the original root of all things, maintains everything in this material manifestation. This is also confirmed in the Vedic literature (Kaṭha Upaniṣad 2.2.13):

nityo nityānāṁ cetanaś cetanānām

eko bahūnāṁ yo vidadhāti kāmān

He is the prime eternal among all eternals. He is the supreme living entity of all living entities, and He alone is maintaining all life. One cannot do anything without intelligence, and Kṛṣṇa also says that He is the root of all intelligence. Unless a person is intelligent he cannot understand the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Kṛṣṇa.

బ్రహ్మ ఇట్లు పలికెను -

అదే సమయములో అందమగు అప్సరసలు పుష్పములను, గంధమును చేతులయందు ధరించి యుద్ధమును చూడవలెననే ఉత్కంఠతో అచటకు వచ్చిరి. నీ వంటి ఋషులు కూడా వచ్చిరి (54). యుద్ధమును చూచుటకు వచ్చిన వారందరితో ఆకాశములోని నక్షత్రమార్గము ఆ సమయములో నిండియుండెను. ఓ మహర్షీ! (55) వారా యుద్ధమును చూచి మహాశ్చర్యమును పొందిరి. ఇట్టి గొప్ప యుద్ధమును వారెన్నడునూ చూచియుండఅలేదు (56). ఆ సమయములో యుద్ధము వలన ఏర్పడిన పరిస్థితికి భూమి సముద్రముతో సహా కంపించెను. పర్వతములు నేల గూలినవి (57).

గ్రహములతో, నక్షత్రముల గుంపులతో కూడియున్న ఆకాశము కంపించినది. అందరు కలవరపడిరి. సర్వదేవతలు మరియు సమస్తగణములు పలాయనము చిత్తగించిరి (58). అచట నున్న వారిలో షణ్ముఖుడు మాత్రమే పారిపోలేదు. మహావీరుడగు అతడు అందరినీ వెనుకకు త్రోసి ముందు నిలబడెను (59). ఇద్దరు శక్తులు ఆ యుద్దములో శత్రుపక్షము వారి ప్రయత్నములనన్నిటినీ వమ్ము చేసిరి. దేవతలు, గణములు ప్రయోగించిన అస్త్రములనన్నిటిని వారు భగ్నము చేసి మరల వారిపై ప్రయోగించిరి (60). అచటనున్న ఆ దేవతలు, గణములు అందరు పారిపోయి శివుని వద్దకు వచ్చి నిలబడిరి (61).

వారందరు శివునకు అనేక పర్యాయములు నమస్కరించి ముక్తకంఠముతో శివునితో నిట్లు పలికిరి: ఓ ప్రభూ! ఈ గణశ్రేష్ఠుడు ఎవరు? (62) పూర్వము జరిగిన ఎన్నో యుద్ధములను గూర్చి వినియుంటిమి. కాని ఇటువంటి యుద్ధమును ఏ కాలము నందైననూ చచూడలేదు, వినలేదు (63). ఓ దేవా! నీవు సావకాశముగా ఆలోచించుము. లేనిచో జయము లభించదు. ఓ స్వామీ! బ్రహ్మండమునకు రక్షకుడవు నీవే అనుటలో సందేహము లేదు (64).

Brahmā said:—

54-55. In the meantime the excellent nymphs came there with flowers and sandal paste in their hands. You and other gods who were eager to witness the fight came there. O excellent sage, the excellent pathway of the firmament was entirely filled by them.

56. Seeing the battle they were much surprised. Such a battle had never been witnessed by them before.

57. The earth with all the oceans quaked. As a result of the violent battle even mountains fell down.

58. The sky whirled with the planets and the stars. Everything was agitated. The gods fled. The Gaṇas too did likewise.

59. The valorous sixfaced deity alone did not flee. The great warrior stopped everyone and stood in front.

60. But the Gaṇas fought in vain with the two Śaktis. The weapons of the gods and the Gaṇas were broken and hence withdrawn by them.

61. Those that tarried went to Śiva. All the gods and Gaṇas fled.

62. Those who went in a body to Śiva bowed to him again and again and asked Śiva immediately “O lord who is that excellent Gaṇa?”

63. We have heard that battles used to be fought formerly. Even now many battles are being fought. But never was such a battle seen or heard.

64. O lord, let this be pondered over a little. Otherwise no victory is possible. O lord, you alone are the saviour of the universe. There is no doubt about it.”

*జ్ఞానం అంటే విషయ పరిజ్ఞానం మరియు బంధం అంటే లౌకికపరమైన బంధం. ఇక్కడ జ్ఞానం అంటే ఇంద్రియ అవయవాల ద్వారా పొందిన జ్ఞానం, అనుభవం ద్వారా పొందిన జ్ఞానం. ఈ జ్ఞానం అత్యున్నత జ్ఞానానికి భిన్నమైనది. అత్యున్నత జ్ఞానం లౌకిక మనస్సు యొక్క అనుభవం మరియు ఇంద్రియ అనుభవం ద్వారా ఉద్భవించదు. ఉన్నత మనస్సు ద్వారా గ్రహించబడిన, పెంపొందించ బడిన మరియు వ్యక్తీకరించబడిన జ్ఞానం బంధం వంటి తాత్కాలిక విషయాలతో కలుషితం కాకుండా ఉంటుంది. ఇక్కడే మునుపటి సూత్రంలో ప్రస్తావించబడిన స్వచ్ఛమైన చైతన్యం పవిత్రం సూచించబడింది. ఇంద్రియ గ్రహణాల ద్వారా పొందిన జ్ఞానం మాయ లేదా భ్రాంతి ప్రభావం కారణంగా పరిమితం అని చెప్పబడింది.*

*🌻2. Jñānam bandhaḥ - 1 🌻*

*🌴Limited knowledge creates bondage.🌴*

*Jñānaṁ means knowledge and bandhaḥ means bondage. Knowledge here means the knowledge derived through sensory organs, the knowledge acquired through experience. This knowledge is different from supreme knowledge. Supreme knowledge is the experience of the mind and not derived through sensory experience. Knowledge conceived, nurtured and manifested by the mind remains uncontaminated with temporal matters such as bondage. This is where pure consciousness is consecrated that is referred in the previous sūtrā. Hence knowledge acquired through sensory perceptions are said to be limited because of the influence of māyā or illusion.*

*Knowledge acquired through sensory experience does not lead to liberation. The Supreme Self cannot be realised through the knowledge acquired through sensory experience, as the experience gained is not real. It is illusionary in nature caused by māyā. This is known as a-jñānaṁ or ignorance in spiritual parlance. Shiva Sūtrās call ajñānaṁ as mala. The correct interpretation of mala would be natural impurity. It is natural because, a person is born with natural impurity. In the process of his growth, either he gains supreme knowledge which is also called undifferentiated knowledge or differentiated knowledge which is also known as ignorance. It is ignorance about the Creator or the Brahman.*

ప్రతిమ ఎంత పెద్దది ఉండునో, అంత పెద్ద అందమైన పిండి నిర్మింప వలెను. పిండిలో సగము ప్రమాణము గల గర్భమును నిర్మించి, గర్భమానాను సారముగ గోడలు పెట్టవలెను. గోడల ఎత్తు వాటి వెడల్పును అనుసరించి ఉండవలెను. విద్వాంసుడు శిఖరము ఎత్తు గోడ ఎత్తుకు రెట్టింపు ఉంచవలెను. శిఖరము ఎత్తులో నాల్గవవంతు ఎత్తున ఆలయమునకు పరిక్రమ ఏర్పరుపవలెను. ఆలయము ముందున్న ముఖ మండపము గూడ అదే ఎత్తుతో నిర్మింపవరెను. గర్భము ఎనిమిదవ వంతు ప్రమాణముండు నట్లు రథకములు బైటకు వచ్చు మార్గము నిర్మింపవలెను. లేదా పరిధి మూడభాగమును అనుసరించి రథకములను (చిన్ని రథములను) నిర్మింపలెను. వాటి మూడవ వంతు ప్రమాణమున రథ నిర్గ మద్వార మేర్పరుపవలెను. మూడు రథకములపై సర్వదా మాడు వామములను స్థాపింపవలెను.

శిఖరము కొరకు నాలుగు సూత్ర పాతములు చేయవలెను. శుకనాసపైనుండి సూత్రము అడ్డముగా పడవేయవలెను. శిఖరము సగము భాగమున సింహ ప్రతిమను నిర్మింపవలెను. శుకనాసపై సూత్రము స్థిరముగానుంచి దానిని మధ్యసం ధివరకును తీసికొనివెళ్ళవలెను. రెండవ పార్శ్యమునందు గూడ ఈ విధముగానే సూత్రపాతము చేయవలెను. 

శుకనాసపై వేది నిర్మించి, దానిపై అమలసారమను పేరుగల, కంఠముతో కూడిన కలశము నిర్మింపవలెను. అది వికరాలముగ ఉండగూడదు. వేదిమానము ఉన్నంతవరకునే కలశను నిర్మింపవలెను. ఆలయద్వారము వెడల్పు ఎంత ఉండునో దానికి రెట్టింపు ఎత్తు ఉండవలెను. ద్వారము చాల అందముగా శోభాసంపన్నముగా ఉండునట్లు నిర్మింపవలెను. ద్వారముల పై భాగమున సుందరములును, మంగళకరమునులు అగు వస్తువులతోపాటు రెండు ఉదుంబర శాఖలు నిర్మింపవలెను.

*🌻 Construction of a temple - 2 🌻*

10. The base (of the deity) should be of the same size as the image. The adytum (of the temple) should be half the size of the base and the walls proportionate to the adytum.

11. The height (of the walls) should be equal to the length of the walls. The pinnacle should be made equal to twice the height of the wall.

12. The path around the temple should be a quarter of the extent of the pinnacle. The entrance chamber in the front should be a quarter of the extent of the pinnacle.

13. The projections of the arches should be one-eighth of the extent of the adytum. The arches should be made proportionate to the circumference.

14. The projections of arches should otherwise be made as one-third of it. Always there should be three projections on the left on the three arches.

15-16. Four upward lines should be marked for (the construction of) the pinnacle. A downward line is marked to fall above the key-stone which is located at the middle part of the pinnacle. A lion is built at the middle part of the pinnacle in a line with the key-stone.

17. Two such lines should be marked on the sides. There should be a small platform above that.

18. (The lion) should not be in a dropping posture or fierce-looking. The conical shaped structure is placed above, proportional to the small platform.

19. A beautiful opening should be made twice the length of the platform. Two globes should be placed above that with beautiful (ornamental) branches.

🌷. తాత్పర్యం :

*భూమి యొక్క ఆద్యమైన సుగంధము, అగ్ని యందు ఉష్ణమును, జీవుల యందలి ప్రాణమును, తపస్వుల యందు తపస్సును నేనైయున్నాను.*

🌷. భాష్యము :

“పుణ్యము” అనగా శిథిలము కాకుండా ఉండునదని భావము. అట్టి పుణ్యము ఆద్యమైనట్టిది. పుష్పము, భూమి, జలము, అగ్ని, వాయువు మొదలైనవానికి ఒక ప్రత్యేకమైన వాసన యున్నట్లే జగమునందు ప్రతియొక్కటియు ఒక ప్రత్యేకమైన వాసనను (గంధమును) కలిగియుండును. ఆద్యమై సర్వత్రా వ్యాపించియుండి కలుషితము గానటువంటి పరిమళము శ్రీకృష్ణుడే అయి యున్నాడు. వాసన రీతిగానే ప్రతిదియు ఒక సహజరుచిని కలిగియుండును. కాని ఆ రుచి రసాయన మిశ్రణముచే మార్పుచెందగలదు. అనగా ఆద్యమైన ప్రతిదియు ఒక వాసనను, సుగంధము, రుచిని కలిగియుండును. ఇక “విభావసౌ” యనగా అగ్ని యని భావము. ఆ అగ్ని లేనిదే కర్మాగారములను నడుపుట, వంటచేయుట వంటి కార్యములు ఏవియును మనము చేయజాలము. అట్టి అగ్ని మరియు అగ్ని యందలి ఉష్ణము శ్రీకృష్ణుడే. 

ఆయుర్వేదము ప్రకారము ఉదరములో జఠరాగ్ని మందగించుటయే అజీర్తికి కారణము. అనగా ఆహారము పచనమగుటకు సైతము అగ్నియే అవసరము. ఈ విధముగా భూమి, జలము, అగ్ని, వాయువు, సర్వచైతన్యపదార్థములు (రసాయనములు మరియు మూలకములు) శ్రీకృష్ణుని వలననే కలుగుచున్నవి కృష్ణభక్తిరసభావన ద్వారా మనము తెలిసికొనగలము. మనుజుని ఆయు:పరిమితి కూడా కృష్ణుని చేతనే నిర్ణయింపబడుచున్నది. కనుక ఆ కృష్ణుని కరుణచే మనుజుడు తన ఆయు:పరిమితిని పెంచుకొనుట లేక తగ్గించుకొనుట చేసికొనవచ్చును. అనగా కృష్ణభక్తిరస భావనయే అన్నిరంగములందును అవసరమైనట్టిది.

🌷 Translation : 

*I am the original fragrance of the earth, and I am the heat in fire. I am the life of all that lives, and I am the penances of all ascetics.*

🌹 Purport :

Puṇya means that which is not decomposed; puṇya is original. Everything in the material world has a certain flavor or fragrance, as the flavor and fragrance in a flower, or in the earth, in water, in fire, in air, etc. The uncontaminated flavor, the original flavor, which permeates everything, is Kṛṣṇa. Similarly, everything has a particular original taste, and this taste can be changed by the mixture of chemicals. So everything original has some smell, some fragrance and some taste. Vibhāvasu means fire. Without fire we cannot run factories, we cannot cook, etc., and that fire is Kṛṣṇa. The heat in the fire is Kṛṣṇa. According to Vedic medicine, indigestion is due to a low temperature in the belly. So even for digestion fire is needed. 

In Kṛṣṇa consciousness we become aware that earth, water, fire, air and every active principle, all chemicals and all material elements are due to Kṛṣṇa. The duration of man’s life is also due to Kṛṣṇa. Therefore by the grace of Kṛṣṇa, man can prolong his life or diminish it. So Kṛṣṇa consciousness is active in every sphere.

ఇంతలో ప్రకాశస్వరూపురాలు, జ్ఞానస్వరూపురాలు అగు జగన్మాత ఆ వృత్తాంతమునంతనూ ఎరింగి అంతులేని కోపమును పొందెను (44). ఓ మహర్షీ! అపుడామెతన గణమునకు అన్ని విధములుగా సహాయతను చేకూర్చుటకై అచట రెండు శక్తులను నిర్మించెను (45). ఓ మహర్షీ! నల్లని పర్వతమువలెనున్న ఒక శక్తి గుహవంటి నోటిని విస్తరింపజేసి భయంకరమగు ఆకారమును ధరించి నిలబడెను (46). రెండవ శక్తి విద్యు ద్రూపములో నుండెను. ఆమె అనేక హస్తములను కలిగియుండెను. దుష్టులను శిక్షించు ఆ మహాదేవి భయమును గొల్పు చుండెను (47).

దేవతలు, గణములు ప్రయోగించిన ఆయుధములనన్నిటినీ తమ నోటితో గ్రహించి ఆ శక్తులు మరల వాటిని వెంటనే వారిపై విసిరినవి (48). వజ్రాయుధమునకు ఆ గతి పట్టగా పరిఘ వంటి ఆయుధమును గురించి చెప్పునదేమున్నది? ఈ తీరున వారచట అత్యద్భుతమగు క్రియల నాచరించిరి (49). పూర్వము గొప్ప కొండ సముద్రమును అడ్డగించిన తీరున, ఒకే ఒక బాలుడు జయింప శక్యము కాని సైన్యమునంతనూ అడ్డుకొనినాడు (50). ఒకే ఒక బాలుడు ఇంద్రాది దేవతలనందరినీ ఓడించి, శంకరుని గణములను చీకాకు పరిచినాడు (51). అపుడు అతని ప్రహారములచే కలత చెందిన వారందరు అనేక పర్యాయములు నిట్టూర్చి ఒకరితో నొకరు ఇట్లు పలికిరి (52).

దేవతలు, గణములు ఇట్లు పలికిరి -

ఏమి చేయవలెను? ఎచటకు పోవలెను? దిక్కులు పది తెలియకున్నవి. ఈతడు కుడి నుండి ఎడమకు, ఎడమ నుండి కుడికి పరిఘను త్రిప్పుచున్నాడు (53).

45. O great sage, the goddess created two Śaktis[1] then and there for the assistance of her own Gaṇa.

46. O great sage, one Śakti assumed a very fierce form and stood there opening her mouth as wide as the cavern of a dark mountain.

47. The other assumed the form of lightning. She wore many arms. She was a huge and terrible goddess ready to punish the wicked.

48. The weapons hurled by the gods and the Gaṇas were caught in the mouth and hurled back at them.

49. None of the weapons of the gods was seen anywhere around the iron club of Gaṇeśa. This wonderful feat was performed by them.

50. A single boy stirred and churned the vast impassable army in the same manner as great mountain[2] churned the ocean of milk formerly.

51. Indra and other gods were struck by him, singlehanded. The Gaṇas of Śiva became agitated and distressed then.

52. Gasping frequently for their breath, being utterly shaken by his blows they gathered together and spoke to one another.

The gods and Gaṇas said'.—

53. “What shall be done? Where should we go? The ten directions have become visible. He is whirling the iron club right and left.”

*విజ్ఞాన భైరవ (100వ శ్లోకం) ఇలా చెబుతోంది, “చైతన్యంగా వర్ణించబడిన బ్రాహ్మణుడు అన్ని జీవులలో ఉన్నాడు. ఇది వ్యక్తిని బట్టి మారదు. బ్రహ్మం సర్వత్రా ప్రబలంగా ఉంటుందని గ్రహించినవాడు ప్రపంచాన్ని జయిస్తాడు. ఇదే విషయాన్ని కృష్ణుడు భగవద్గీత (IV.13)లో ప్రకటించాడు. *Vijnana Bhairava (verse 100) says, “The Brahman who is characterised as Consciousness is present in all beings. It does not vary from person to person. The one who realises that the Brahman prevails everywhere conquers the world.” The same discourse is declared by Krishna in Bhagavad Gita (IV.13). He says “According to the differentiation of attributes and actions, I have created four castes.” For understanding and realising the Truth one has to go through certain mental process. Mental process consists of three components. The first one is learning and the second one is analysing and the third one is experiencing.*

*Shiva is omnipresent and He prevails both internally and externally is the crux of learning. Study of Upanishads and other scriptures that make elaborate discussions on the Brahman, by means of negations and affirmations is analysing. Experiencing means developing higher level of consciousness and the experience culminates in Shiva realisation. Meditation is a source of help only in the last stage. Without understanding the subject, meditation is a process of wasting one’s time. It is like writing an examination without the basic knowledge of the concerned subject.*

ఈ బ్రహ్మాండానికి ఈ ఏడు ఆవరణలూ దాటాక కూడా ఇంకో ఆవరణ ఉన్నది. అదే ప్రధానం (ప్రకృతి). సకల లోకాల విస్తారణం బ్రహ్మ యొక్క రూపమే. నీటిలో ఉన్న హిరణ్మయ రూపమైన బ్రహ్మాండ కోశములోంచి స్వామి బయటకు వచ్చాడు.*

*This universal egg, or the universe in the shape of an egg, is called the manifestation of material energy. Its layers of water, air, fire, sky, ego and mahat-tattva increase in thickness one after another. Each layer is ten times bigger than the previous one, and the final outside layer is covered by pradhāna. Within this egg is the universal form of Lord Hari, of whose body the fourteen planetary systems are parts.*

*This universe, or the universal sky which we can visualize with its innumerable planets, is shaped just like an egg. As an egg is covered by a shell, the universe is also covered by various layers. The first layer is water, the next is fire, then air, then sky, and the ultimate holding crust is pradhāna. Within this egglike universe is the universal form of the Lord as the virāṭ-puruṣa. All the different planetary situations are parts of His body. This is already explained in the beginning of Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam, Second Canto.*

*The planetary systems are considered to form different bodily parts of that universal form of the Lord. Persons who cannot directly engage in the worship of the transcendental form of the Lord are advised to think of and worship this universal form. The lowest planetary system, Pātāla, is considered to be the sole of the Supreme Lord, and the earth is considered to be the belly of the Lord. Brahmaloka, or the highest planetary system, where Brahmā lives, is considered to be the head of the Lord.*

హయగ్రీవుడు పలికెను. - ఇపుడు సర్వసాధారణమైన దేవాలయమును గూర్చి చెప్పదను, వినుము, దేవాలయమును నిర్మింపదలచిన విద్వాంసుడు, నలుపలకలగా ఉన్న క్షేత్రమును పదునారు భాగములుగా విభజింపవలెను. వాటిలో మధ్యనున్న నాలుగు భాగములతో ఆయముతో కూడిన గర్భమును నిశ్చయించి, మిగిలిన పండ్రెండు భాగములను గోడల నిమిత్తము నిర్ణయించుకొనవలెను. పై పండ్రెండు భాగములలో నాలుగు భాగముల పొడవు ఎంత ఉండునో, గోడల ఎత్తు అంత ఉండవలెను. శిఖరము ఎత్తు గోడల ఎత్తునకు రెట్టింపు ఉంచవలెను. శిఖరము ఎత్తులో నాల్గవవంతు ఎత్తు దేవాలయపరిక్రమ ఎత్తు ఉంచవలెను. రెండు పార్శ్వములందును ఉన్న మార్గముల (ద్వారముల) కొలత ఈ కొలతను బట్టియే ఉండవలెను. 

ఆ ద్వారములు సమాన ప్రమాణములై ఉండవలెను. ఆలయము ఎదుటనున్న ప్రదేశము విస్తారము కూడ శిఖరముతో సమానముగా ఉండవలెను. అందముగా ఉండుటకై దాని విస్తారము శిఖతము కంటె రెటింపు ఉండునట్లు కూడ చేయవచ్చును. ఆలయము ఎదుటనున్న సభామండపము విస్తారము, గర్భసూత్రమునకు రెట్టింపు ఉండవలెను. దేవాలయ పాద స్తంభముల పొడవు గోడపొడవుతో సమముగా ఉండవలెను, వాటికి మధ్య స్తంభముల మర్చి అందముగా ఉండు నట్లు చేయవలెను. ముఖమండప ప్రమాణము ఆలయ గర్భ ప్రమాణముతో సమముగా నుండవలెను. పిమ్మట ఎనుబది ఒక్కపదముల వాస్తు మండపమును ఆరంభింపవలెను.

మొదట ద్వారన్యాసము దగ్గరనున్న పదములలో ఉండు దేవతలను పూజింపవలెను. పిమ్మట ప్రాకారవిన్యాసము దగ్గరనున్న దేవతలను, అంతమునందు పదములందు స్థాపింపబడిన ముప్పది ముగ్గురు దేవతలను పూజింపవలెను. ఇది ప్రాసాదముల సర్వసాధారణ లక్షణము. ఇపుడు ప్రతిమా మానాను సారముగ నిర్మించు ఇతర ప్రాసాదములను గూర్చి వినుము.

*🌻 Construction of a temple - 1 🌻*

Hayagrīva said:

1. Listen to me describing the construction of a temple in general. A wise man should divide a square ground into sixteen parts.

2. One should make the four central squares endowed with. wealth. The other sixteen parts are left for the walls.

3. The pedestal should extend over four squares. The length of the cornice should be double that of the pedestal.

4. The path of circumambulation should be a quarter of (the length) of the cornice. Two equal openings having the same width as the latter, should be left on the two sides for projections

5. The extent of the ground should be made at first equal to the length of the tower or twice that such as it may be beautiful.

6- 7. One should construct the pavilion in front of the sanctum on the lines running parallel through the sides of its inner chamber, adorned with pillars and being of the same length or longer than the principal temple sanctorum by a quarter of its length. The anti-chamber should then be constructed at 81 steps.

8. The deities at the end of the base should be worshipped before placing the parrots at the front door. In the same manner the thirty-two gods at the end should be worshipped when the outer wall is raised.

9. This is the characteristic of a temple in general. Listen to the description (of raising) a temple proportionate to the (size of the) image.

*ఓ కుంతీపుత్రా! నీటి యందు రుచిని, సూర్యచంద్రుల యందు కాంతిని, వేదమంత్రములందు ఓంకారమును, ఆకాశము నందు శబ్దమును, నరుని యందు సామర్థ్యమును నేనే అయి యున్నాను.*

🌷. భాష్యము :

భౌతికము మరియు ఆధ్యాత్మికములనెడి తన వైవిధ్యశక్తులచే శ్రీకృష్ణభగవానుడు ఏ విధముగా సర్వవ్యాపియై యుండునో ఈ శ్లోకము వివరించుచున్నది. ఈ వివిధశక్తుల ద్వారానే భగవానుడు తొలుత దర్శింపబడి నిరాకారరూపముగా అనుభవమునకు వచ్చును. సూర్యమండలము నందుండెడి సాకారుడైన సూర్యదేవుడు తన సర్వవ్యాపకశక్తి (సూర్యకాంతి) ద్వారా దర్శనీయుడైనట్లు, శ్రీకృష్ణభగవానుడు తన దామమునందు నిలిచియున్నను సర్వత్రా వ్యాపించియుండెడి తన శక్తుల ద్వారా దర్శనీయుడగును. ఉదాహరణకు రుచి యనునది నీటి యందలి ప్రధాన విషయము. లవణపూర్ణమై యున్నందున సముద్రనీటిని త్రాగుటకు ఎవ్వరును ఇచ్చగింపరు. అనగా రుచిని బట్టియే నీటి యెడ ఎవ్వరైనను ఆకర్షణను కలిగియుందురు. అట్టి రుచి శ్రీకృష్ణభగవానుని శక్తులలో ఒకటియై యున్నది. నిరాకారవాదియైనవాడు నీటి రుచి ద్వారా దాని యందు భగవానుని ఉనికిని గాంచగా, మనుజుని దాహమును తీర్చుటకు కరుణతో రుచిగల నీటి నొసగుచున్న ఆ భగవానుని సాకారవాడి కీర్తించును. భగవానుని దర్శించుటకు ఇదియే మార్గము. వాస్తవమునకు సాకారవాదమునకు మరియు నిరాకారవాదమునకు ఎట్టి విరోధము లేదు. భగవతత్త్వము నెరిగినవాడు సాకారభావనము మరియు నిరాకారభావనము అనునవి ఏకకాలమున సమస్తమునందు నెలకొనియున్నవనియు మరియు ఆ తత్త్వములందు ఎట్టి వ్యతిరేకత లేదనియు తెలిసియుండును. కనుకనే శ్రీచైతన్యమాహాప్రభువు ఏకకాలమున ఏకత్వము మరియు భిన్నత్వము తెలిపెడి “అచింత్యభేదాభేదతత్త్వము” అనెడి తమ ఉదాత్తమగు సిద్ధాంతమును స్థాపించిరి.

సూర్యచంద్రుల కాంతి సైతము శ్రీకృష్ణభగవానుని నిరాకారతేజమైన బ్రహ్మజ్యోతి నుండియే వెలువడునటువంటిది. అలాగుననే సర్వవేదమంత్రముల ఆదిపదమైన ప్రణవాము లేదా ఓంకారము దేవదేవునే సంబోధించును. నిరాకారవాదులు శ్రీకృష్ణభగవానుని అతని అసంఖ్యాక నామముల ద్వారా సంబోధించుటకు వెరగు చెందియుండుటచే దివ్యమగు ఓంకారమును పలుకుట యందు మక్కువను చూపుదురు. కాని ఓంకారము శ్రీకృష్ణుని శబ్దప్రాతినిధ్యమై యని వారు ఎరుగజాలరు. వాస్తవమునకు కృష్ణభక్తిరసభావనపు పరిధి సర్వత్రా వ్యాపించియున్నది. దాని నెరిగినవాడు ధన్యుడు కాగలడు. అనగా కృష్ణుని గూర్చి తెలియనివారు మాయలో నున్నట్టివారే. కనుకనే కృష్ణపరజ్ఞానము ముక్తియై యుండగా, కృష్ణుని గూర్చి తెలియకుండుట బంధమై యున్నది.

🌷 Translation : 

*O son of Kuntī, I am the taste of water, the light of the sun and the moon, the syllable oṁ in the Vedic mantras; I am the sound in ether and ability in man.*

🌹 Purport :

This verse explains how the Lord is all-pervasive by His diverse material and spiritual energies. The Supreme Lord can be preliminarily perceived by His different energies, and in this way He is realized impersonally. As the demigod in the sun is a person and is perceived by his all-pervading energy, the sunshine, so the Lord, although in His eternal abode, is perceived by His all-pervading diffusive energies. The taste of water is the active principle of water. No one likes to drink sea water, because the pure taste of water is mixed with salt. Attraction for water depends on the purity of the taste, and this pure taste is one of the energies of the Lord. The impersonalist perceives the presence of the Lord in water by its taste, and the personalist also glorifies the Lord for His kindly supplying tasty water to quench man’s thirst. 

That is the way of perceiving the Supreme. Practically speaking, there is no conflict between personalism and impersonalism. One who knows God knows that the impersonal conception and personal conception are simultaneously present in everything and that there is no contradiction. Therefore Lord Caitanya established His sublime doctrine: acintya bheda- and abheda-tattva – simultaneous oneness and difference.

మహాబలుడగు గణేశుడు పరిఘను చేతబట్టుట గాంచి నేను వెంటనే పలాయనము చిత్తగించితిని (34), 'పొండు పొండు' అని పలుకతూ ఆతడు వారిని పరిఘతో మోదెను. కొందరు వారంతట వారే క్రిందబడిరి. మరికొందరిని ఆతడు పడవైచెను (35). మరికొందరు క్షణములో శివుని దరిజేరి ఆ వృత్తాంతమును సర్వమును శివునకు విన్నవించుకొనిరి (36). లీలాపండితుడగు శివుడు వారి ఆ దురవస్థను గాంచి ఆ వృత్తాంతమును విని పట్టజాలని కోపమును పొందెను (37).

అపుడాయన ఇంద్రుడు మొదలగు దేవగణములను, షణ్ముఖుడు, మొదలగా గల గణములను, భూతప్రేత పిశాచములను అందరినీ ఆదేశించెను (38). శివునిచే ఆజ్ఞాపించబడిన ఆ వీరులందరు ఆ గణశుని సంహరించు కోరికతో ఆయుధములనెత్తి పట్టుకొని ఎవరి వీలును బట్టి వారు అన్నివైపులనుండియు ముట్టడించిరి (39). ఎవరెవరి వద్ద ఏయే ఆయుధములు గలవో వారు వారు ఆయా ఆయుధములను ఆ గణేశునిపై బలముగా ప్రయోగించిరి (40). స్థావర జంగమాత్మకమగు ముల్లోకములలో పెద్ద హాహాకారము చెలరేగెను. ముల్లోకములలోని జనులందరు సందేహమును పొందిరి (41).

బ్రహ్మ గారి ఆయుర్ధాయము పూర్తికాలేదు గదా! శివుని ఇచ్ఛచే బ్రహ్మాండము కాలము కాని కాలమందు తనంత తానుగా వినాశనమును పొందుచున్నది (42). అచటకు విచ్చేసిన షణ్ముఖుడు మొదలగు గణములు మరియు దేవతలు, తమ ఆయుధములు వ్యర్థము కాగా పరమాశ్చర్యమును పొందిరి (43).

34. On seeing the powerful Gaṇeśa seizing the iron club I began to run away immediately.

35. The others too who were shouting “Go, Go” were struck down with the iron club. Some fell themselves and some were felled by him.

36. Some of them fled to Śiva in a trice and intimated to him the details of the incident.

37. On seeing them in that plight and on hearing the news, Śiva, an adept in sports became very angry.

38. He issued directives to Indra and other gods, to the Gaṇas led by the six-faced Kumāra and to goblins, ghosts and spirits.

39. At the bidding of Śiva they all desired to kill Gaṇeśa. Lifting up their weapons in a suitable manner they came there from all directions.

40. Whatever weapon they had was hurled on Gaṇeśa with force.

41. There was a great hue and cry in all the three worlds consisting of the mobile and immobile. The inhabitants of the worlds were in a great fix and uncertainty.

42. “Brahma’s life span is not over, but the whole universe is undergoing untimely destruction. Certainly it is due to Śiva’s wish.

43. The sixfaced deity and the other gods who came there failed to use their weapons effectively. They were very much surprised.

*చైతన్యం అనే అస్తిత్వం యొక్క లక్షణం ఆనందం. ఇది ఎందుకు ఆనందం? ఎందుకంటే, మీరు అనుభవించే బాధలు, కష్టాలు, పరిమితులన్ని కూడా మీ స్వభావం యొక్క పరిమితుల నుంచి పుడతాయి. ఒక వ్యక్తి అనంతుడు అయినప్పుడు, అన్ని కోరికలు నెరవేరుతాయి. అనంతత్వంలో అన్ని కోరికలు నశిస్తాయని అందరూ అనుకుంటారు కానీ అలా కాదు. అవి నెరవేరబడతాయి. మనం ఇప్పుడు కేవలం వస్తువుల యొక్క నీడను మాత్రమే అనుభూతి చెందుతున్నాము.*

*Existence which is Consciousness is of the character of Bliss. Why is it Bliss? Because, all suffering and finitude, every difficulty and penury of any kind, is the result of the finitude of one's nature. When one has become the Infinite, all desires are fulfilled. The desires are not abolished or destroyed in the Infinite, as people may imagine. All wishes are totally fulfilled in their reality. We enjoy at present dream objects, a shadow of the substance, as it were.*

*But there, one becomes the archetype or the original of things, as if one in dream rises into the waking life and beholds the reality of things as they are. Even this Bliss is not separate from Existence-Consciousness. Existence, which is Consciousness, itself is bliss. If the Self is Existence-Consciousness-Bliss in deep sleep, can it be otherwise in the waking and dream states? No, because it is indivisible, thus, infinite; it would be the same always. Thus, essentially, the Self is Sat-Chit-Ananda, Existence-Consciousness-Bliss. Here Infinity and Eternity get blended into All-Being.*

*వ్యక్తులందరికీ వివిధ స్థాయిల స్పృహ ఉంటుంది. అత్యున్నత స్థాయి స్పృహను పొందిన వాడు జ్ఞానంతో నిండి ఉంటాడు. అయితే అది విజ్ఞానం అతనికి ప్రసాదించినది కాదు. అతను తన స్వంత ప్రయత్నాల ద్వారా ఈ జ్ఞానాన్ని పొందాడు, అంటే ఆధ్యాత్మిక గురువు నుండి నేర్చుకోవడం, అతనిని అభ్యసించడం మొదలైనవి. జ్ఞానాన్ని సంపాదించడానికి అనేక పద్ధతులు ఉన్నాయి, అయితే గురువు నుండి పొందడం సరైనదిగా పరిగణించ బడుతుంది. జ్ఞానాన్వేషకుల మదిలో తలెత్తే పనికిమాలిన సందేహాలకు సమాధానం చెప్పగలిగిన వారు ఎవరైనా ఉండాలి. ఒకరికి సందేహం రాకపోతే, అతను తన అభ్యాస ప్రక్రియలో తీవ్రంగా లేడని అర్థం.*

*ప్రబలంగా ఉన్న అజ్ఞానం యొక్క స్థాయి కారణంగా స్పృహ స్థాయి వ్యక్తి నుండి వ్యక్తికి మారుతూ ఉంటుంది. జ్ఞాన సముపార్జన ద్వారానే ఈ అజ్ఞానం తొలగిపోతుంది. ప్రస్తుత సందర్భంలో, జ్ఞానం లేదా అజ్ఞానం అంటే ఆధ్యాత్మికత స్థాయి మాత్రమే. కాబట్టి, ముఖ్యమైనది సాధన యొక్క వ్యవధి కాదు, కానీ అభ్యాసం యొక్క నాణ్యత. కొన్ని క్షణాల అధిక ఏకాగ్రత శివుడిని సాధించడానికి సరిపోతుంది. అన్ని అభ్యాసాలు ఆ కొన్ని క్షణములకు మాత్రమే దారి తీస్తాయి, ఇది ఒకరి ఆధ్యాత్మిక ప్రయాణంలో ఏ క్షణంలోనైనా జరగవచ్చు.*

*All the individuals have different levels of consciousness. The one who has acquired the highest level of consciousness is full of knowledge. Knowledge is not something that is gifted to him. He has acquired this knowledge through his own efforts, learning from a spiritual preceptor, or by reading him, etc. There are many methods of acquiring knowledge, though acquiring from a learned guru is considered as the right one. There should be someone who is able to answer trivial doubts that arise in the minds of the seekers of knowledge. If one does not get a doubt, then it means he is not serious in his learning process.*

*The level of consciousness varies from person to person due to the level of ignorance that prevails. This ignorance can be removed only by acquiring knowledge. In the present context, knowledge or ignorance means only the level of spirituality. So, what is important is not the duration of the practice, but the quality of the practice. A few seconds of high concentration is more than enough to attain Shiva. All the practice leads only to those few seconds, which could happen any moment in one’s spiritual journey.*

*ప్రతిరోజు ఒకే కోరిక తో కూడిన ఆలోచన నిరంతరాయంగా ఒకే సమయానికి కనుక ఏర్పడితే, ఆ ఆలోచన శక్తిమంతమైన. భావచిత్రంగా మారుతుంది. ధ్యానం దీని పై కొనసాగితే అది ఇంకా శక్తిమంతం అవుతుంది.*

*దీనిని ఒకరికి ఆశీర్వచనం గా మనం పంపిస్తే, దానిని స్వీకరించే వారికి ఎంతో. ప్రయోజనం కలుగుతుంది. ఇలాంటి భావ చిత్రాల వల్ల దాని తత్త్వాన్ని బట్టి అనుకూల ప్రతికూల ప్రభావాలు రెండూ కూడా కలిగే అవకాశముంది..*

*అధ్యాత్మిక ప్రస్థానం లో వేగం గా ప్రయాణం చేద్దామనుకునే సాధకులు దీనిని చాలా చక్కగా ఉపయోగించుకో వచ్చును.*

*దీనికి కారణం మనం గతం లో ఇలా పరస్పర విరుద్ధ భావాలతో కూడిన భావ చిత్రాలను, దానికి సంబంధించిన కర్మని చేశామనే అర్ధం కదా.*

*ఈ విషయాల దృష్ట్యా మనం ఇంకో విషయం పై దృష్టి ఉంచాలి. ఈ భావ చిత్రాల వల్లనే మనం మన కామ మానసిక శరీరాల ను ప్రతి క్షణం మనమే తయారు చేసుకుంటున్నాము.*

*మన లో చెలరేగే కోరికలు మన కామ శరీరాన్ని, ఆలోచనలు మానసిక శరీరాన్నీ నిర్మిస్తున్నాయి. ఇది నిరంతరం సాగే ప్రక్రియ. ఈ కారణం గా ఇంద్రియ నిగ్రహం ఎంతో అవసరం. మనం ఉత్తమ ఆలోచనలు, కోరికలు పఠనం, ధ్యానం వల్ల చాలా ఉత్తమ కామ మానసిక శరీరాలు. తయారు అవుతాయి.*

*జీవితానికి ఒక లక్ష్యం, దానికి తగిన ప్రణాళిక , దానికి అవసరమైన సాధన మనం రూపొందించుకుంటే దీనికి తగిన కర్మలే చేస్తాము. నిర్లక్ష్యం గా అనాలోచితం గా సోమరితనం తో తెలువి తక్కువ గా జీవించము..*

*ఇలా ఒక యోగాభ్యాసానికి అనుగుణమైన రీతి లో మన జీవితాన్ని తీర్చి దిద్దుకుంటే, ఈ జన్మ లోను, వచ్చే జన్మ లోను కూడా మన కర్మలు మనం కోరుకున్న ఫలితాలు ఇస్తాయి.*
