*అహైతుక్యవ్యవహితా యా భక్తిః పురుషోత్తమే॥*

*తాత్పర్యము : అతీంద్రియ నామం మరియు గుణాలను వినడానికి ఒకరి మనస్సు ఒక్కసారిగా ఆకర్షించ బడినప్పుడు కల్మషం లేని భక్తి సేవ యొక్క అభివ్యక్తి ప్రదర్శించ బడుతుంది. అట్టి భక్తుడు నిష్కామ భావముతో నా యందు అనన్య భక్తిని కల్గియుండును. దీనిని "నిర్గుణ భక్తి యోగము" అని యందురు.*

*వ్యాఖ్య : నిర్గుణమైన (సత్వమూ కాదూ, రజస్సూ కాదూ, తమస్సూ కాదు, నేను పరమాత్మ యందు నిర్హేతుకముగా మనసు లగ్నం చేసాననే జ్ఞ్యానం కూడా ఉండకూడదు - అదే నిర్గుణం. మనం చేస్తున్న పని మీద మనసు ఉండాలి కానీ, మనం చేస్తున్న పని వలన కలిగే ఫలితాల మీద ఉండకూడదు. వాహనం నడుపుతూ దారిని చూడాలి గానీ, ఎక్కడికి వెళుతున్నామో దాని గురించి ఆలోచిస్తూ, దాన్ని చూస్తే ముందుకు వెళ్ళలేము) భక్తి యోగం. నిర్గుణమైన భక్తి అంటే కలగబొయే ఫలముతో వ్యవధానం ఉండకూడదు (అవ్యవహితా). నేనీ భక్తితో ఉంటే స్వామిని చూస్తాను అన్నది కూడా నిర్గుణ భక్తి కాదు. ప్రహ్లాద నారదులది అట్టి భక్తి. అహైతుకి (ఫలము మీద ఆసక్తి లేకుండా, ధర్మము కాబట్టి ఆరాధించాలి, కారణము లేని భక్తి. ఎలా ఐతే పరమాత్మ కటాక్షం నిర్హేతుకమో, మన భక్తి కూడ నిర్హేతుకమై ఉండాలి ), అవ్యవహితా (పరమాత్మకి మనకి మధ్య ఇంకోటి ఉండకూడదు, వ్యవధానం ఉండకూడదు. "అది కావాలి, ఇది కావాలి" అనే కోరిక ఉంటే, పరమాత్మకూ మనకూ మధ్య "కోరిక" అనే తెర ఉంటుంది). ఫలాపేక్షలేకుండ్దా, పరమాత్మకూ మనకూ మధ్య ఇంకోటి లేకుండా ఉండే భక్తే నిర్గుణమైన భక్తి.*

*🌴 5. Form of Bhakti - Glory of Time - 12 🌴*

*12. akṣaṇaṁ bhakti-yogasya nirguṇasya hy udāhṛtam*

*ahaituky avyavahitā yā bhaktiḥ puruṣottame*

*MEANING : The manifestation of unadulterated devotional service is exhibited when one's mind is at once attracted to hearing the transcendental name and qualities. Such a devotee will have exclusive devotion to Me with pure devotion. This is called 'Nirguna Bhakti Yoga'.*

*PURPORT : He has no desire to fulfill by rendering devotional service. Such devotional service is meant for the puruṣottama, the Supreme Personality, and not for anyone else. Sometimes pseudodevotees show devotion to many demigods, thinking the forms of the demigods to be the same as the Supreme Personality of Godhead's form. It is specifically mentioned herein, however, that bhakti, devotional service, is meant only for the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Nārāyaṇa, Viṣṇu, or Kṛṣṇa, not for anyone else. Avyavahitā means "without cessation." A pure devotee must engage in the service of the Lord twenty-four hours a day, without cessation; his life is so molded that at every minute and every second he engages in some sort of devotional service to the Supreme Personality of Godhead. Another meaning of the word avyavahitā is that the interest of the devotee and the interest of the Supreme Lord are on the same level. The devotee has no interest but to fulfill the transcendental desire of the Supreme Lord. Such spontaneous service unto the Supreme Lord is transcendental and is never contaminated by the material modes of nature. These are the symptoms of pure devotional service, which is free from all contamination of material nature.*

ఓ దేవతాధముడా! నీవు నా తండ్రిమగు సముద్రుని పర్మతముతో మథించి నా తండ్రికి చెందిన శ్రేష్ఠవస్తువులనన్నింటినీ గొని పోతివి. ఇట్లు చేయుటకు కారణమేమి? (27). నీవు చేసినది తగని పని. కావున వాటిని వెంటనే నాకు సమర్పించుము. జాత్రగ్తగా ఆలోచించి దేవతలతో సహా నన్ను శరణు జొచ్చుము (28). ఓ దేవాధమా! అట్లు చేయనిచో నీకు గొప్ప భయము కలుగును. రాజ్యము వినాశమగును. నేను సత్యమును పలుకుచున్నాను (29).

సనత్కుమారుడిట్లు పలికెను -

దూత యొక్క ఈ మాటను వినిన దేవేంద్రుడు ఆశ్చర్యపడెను. ఆయన గతమును స్మరించి భయమును మరియు రోషమును పొంది అతనితో నిట్లనెను (30). నాకు భయపడి పారిపోయిన పర్వతములను సముద్రుడు తన గర్భములో దాచినాడు. మరియు అతడు పూర్వము నా శత్రువులగు ఇతరులను కూడా రక్షించినాడు (31). అందువలననే ఆతని శ్రేష్ఠవస్తువులనన్నింటినీ అపహిరించినాను. నాకు ద్రోహమును చేయు వ్యక్తి సుఖముగా మనజాలడు. నేను సత్యమును పలుకుచున్నాను (32). ఇదే విధముగా పూర్వము సముద్ర పుత్రుడగు శంఖాసురుడు మూర్ఖుడగుటచే సత్పురుషులతోడి మైత్రిని విడనాడి నన్ను ద్వేషించుట మొదలిడెను (33). సముద్రుని పుత్రునిగా జన్మించి సాధుసమాజమును హింసిచిన ఆ మహాపాపిని నా తమ్ముడగు విష్ణువు సంహరించినాడు (34). ఓయీ దూతా! కావున నీవు వెంటనే వెళ్లి ఆ సముద్రపుత్రునకు ఈ సత్యమును తెనుపుము. సముద్రమును మథించుటకు గల కారణమునుసమగ్రముగా వివరించుము (35). ఇంద్రడు ఈ తీరున పలికి పంపివేసెను. అపుడు మహాబుద్ధిశాలి, ఘస్మరుడను పేరు గలవాడునగు ఆ దూత శీఘ్రమే వీరుడగు జలంధరుడు ఉన్న స్థానమునకు వెళ్లెను (36).

28. What you have done is not proper. Return all of them to me immediately. Pondering over this, come along with the gods and seek refuge in me.

29. Otherwise, O base god, you will have a great cause to fear. You will run the risk of the annihilation of your kingdom.”

Sanatkumāra said:—

30. On hearing the words of the messenger, Indra, the the lord of the gods, was bewildered. Remembering the previous incidents he was frightened as well as angry. He spoke to him thus.

31. Indra said. He gave shelter to the mountains who were terribly afraid of me. Others too, some of my enemies, the Asuras, were formerly saved by him.

32 It was due to this that I took away his jewels. Those who oppose me can never remain happy. I am telling you the truth.

33. Formerly the Asura Śaṅkha[4] the son of the ocean was stupid enough to be inimical to me. He was spared by me because he was associated with saintly men.

34. But when his predilection became sinful and he became violent towards saintly men, he was killed in the interior of the ocean by Viṣṇu, my younger brother.

35. Hence O messenger, go immediately and explain to the Asura, son of the ocean, our purpose for churning the ocean.”

Sanatkumāra said:—

36. Dismissed thus by Indra, the intelligent emissary Ghasmara hastened to the place where the heroic Jalandhara was present.

*🕉. భయపడాల్సిన పని లేదు, ఎందుకంటే మనం కోల్పోయేది ఏమీ లేదు. మీ నుండి దోచుకునేదంతా విలువైనది కాదు, కాబట్టి ఎందుకు భయం, ఎందుకు అనుమానం, ఎందుకు సందేహం? 🕉*

*సందేహం, అనుమానం, భయం. వీరే నిజమైన దొంగలు. వారు మీ వేడుకల అవకాశాన్ని నాశనం చేస్తారు. కాబట్టి భూమిపై ఉన్నప్పుడు, భూమిని ఒక ఉత్సవంగా జరుపుకోండి. ఈ క్షణం కొనసాగు తున్నప్పుడు, దానిని పూర్తిగా ఆస్వాదించండి. భయం వల్ల మనం చాలా విషయాలను కోల్పోతాము. భయం వల్ల మనం ప్రేమించ లేము, లేదా మనం ప్రేమించినా ఎప్పుడూ అర్ధహృదయంతో ఉన్నా, అది ఎప్పుడూ అలానే ఉంటుంది. ఇది ఎల్లప్పుడూ కొంత వరకు ఉంటుంది మరియు అంతకు మించి కాదు. మనం ఎప్పుడూ భయపడే స్థాయికి వస్తాము, కాబట్టి మనం అక్కడ ఇరుక్కుపోతాము.*

*భయం వల్ల మనం స్నేహంలో లోతుగా కదలలేము. భయం వల్ల మనం లోతుగా ప్రార్థించలేము. స్పృహతో ఉండండి కానీ ఎప్పుడూ జాగ్రత్తగా ఉండకండి. ఇక్కడ భేదం చాలా సూక్ష్మమైనది. స్పృహ భయంతో పాతుకుపోలేదు. జాగ్రత్త భయంలో పాతుకు పోయింది. మీరు ఎప్పుడూ తప్పు చేయకూడదని జాగ్రత్తగా ఉంటే, ఎక్కువ దూరం వెళ్ళలేరు. ఆ భయం మిమ్మల్ని కొత్త జీవనశైలి గాని, మీ శక్తి కోసం కొత్త ప్రవాహం గాని, కొత్త దిశలు, కొత్త భూములను పరిశోధించడానికి అనుమతించదు. మీరు ఎల్లప్పుడూ మళ్లీ మళ్లీ అదే దారిలో నడుస్తారు, వెనుకకు మరియు ముందుకు-- సరుకు రవాణా రైలు లాగా!*

*These are the real robbers: doubt, suspicion, fear. They destroy your very possibility of celebration. So while on earth, celebrate the earth. While this moment lasts, enjoy it to the very core. Because of fear we miss many things. Because of fear we cannot love, or even if we love it is always half-hearted, it is always so-so. It is always up to a certain extent and not beyond that. We always come to a point beyond which we are afraid, so we get stuck there.*

*We cannot move deeply in friendship because of fear. We cannot pray deeply because of fear. Be conscious but never be cautious. The distinction is very subtle. Consciousness is not rooted in fear. Caution is rooted in fear. One is cautious so that one might never go wrong, but then one cannot go very far. *11. mad-guṇa-śruti-mātreṇa mayi sarva-guhāśaye*

*mano-gatir avicchinnā yathā gaṅgāmbhaso 'mbudhau*

*MEANING : Just as the water of the Ganges flows naturally down towards the ocean, such devotional ecstasy, uninterrupted by any material condition, flows towards the Supreme Lord.*

*PURPORT : The basic principle of this unadulterated, pure devotional service is love of Godhead. Mad-guṇa-śruti-mātreṇa means "just after hearing about the transcendental qualities of the Supreme Personality of Godhead." These qualities are called nirguṇa. The Supreme Lord is uncontaminated by the modes of material nature; therefore He is attractive to the pure devotee. There is no need to practice meditation to attain such attraction; the pure devotee is already in the transcendental stage, and the affinity between him and the Supreme Personality of Godhead is natural and is compared to the Ganges water flowing towards the sea. The flow of the Ganges water cannot be stopped by any condition; similarly, a pure devotee's attraction for the transcendental name, form and pastimes of the Supreme Godhead cannot be stopped by any material condition. The word avicchinnā, "without interruptions," is very important in this connection. No material condition can stop the flow of the devotional service of a pure devotee. The word ahaitukī means "without reason." A pure devotee does not render loving service to the Personality of Godhead for any cause or for any benefit, material or spiritual. This is the first symptom of unalloyed devotion.*

17-18. Thus Bhargava narrated in detail the story of the headless Rahu, of the churning of the ocean pursued by the gods for the gain of nectar, of the removal of the jewels, of the drinking of the Amṛta by the gods and of the harassment to the Asuras.

19. Then on hearing about the churning of his father, the heroic son of the ocean, the valorous Jalandhara became furious and his eyes turned red with anger.

20. Then he called his excellent emissary Ghasmara and told him everything what the wise preceptor had said to him.

21. He then lovingly honoured the clever emissary in various ways, assured him of protection and sent him to Indra as his messenger.

22. Ghasmara, the intelligent emissary of Jalandhara, hastened to heaven[2] where all the gods were present.

23. After going there, the emissary entered the assembly of the gods.[3] With his head kept straight as a token of haughtiness he spoke to lord Indra.

Ghasmara said:—

24. Jalandhara, the son of the ocean, is the lord and emperor of all the Asuras. He is excessively heroic and valorous. He has the support and assistance of Bhargava.

25. I am his emissary. I have been sent by him. I have come to you here. My name is Ghasmara but I am not a devourer.

26. He is of exalted intellect. His behest has never been defied. He has defeated all the enemies of Asuras. Please listen to what he says.

*🕉  When you judge, division starts  🕉*

*You may be talking in deep conversation with a friend when suddenly you feel like being silent. You want to stop talking, right in the middle of the sentence. So stop right there, and don't even complete the rest of the sentence, because that will be going  against nature. But then judgment comes in. You feel embarrassed  about what others will think if you suddenly stop talking in the middle of asentence. If you suddenly become silent they will not understand, so you somehow manage to complete the sentence. You pretend to show interest, and then you finally escape. That is very costly, and there is no need to do it.*

*Just say that conversation is not coming to you now. You can ask to be excused, and be silent. For a few days perhaps it will be a little troublesome, but by and by people will begin to understand. Don't judge yourself about why you became silent; don't tell yourself that it is not good. Everything is good! In deep acceptance, everything becomes a blessing. This is how it happened--your whole being wanted to be silent. So follow it. Just become a shadow to your totality, and wherever it goes you have to follow because there is no other goal. You will begin to feel a tremendous relaxation surrounding you.*

*అసుర ప్రజ్ఞలు హద్దు మీరక యుండుటకు కూడ ఆరాధనము ప్రాథమికముగ ఉపకరించును. ఆరాధనము లోతుగ అనునిత్యము సాగునపుడు దేవతా సహకారము లభించును. అపుడు జీవుడు దేహమున దివ్య వైభవముతో జీవించ గలడు. అట్లుకాక దేహబద్ధుడైనపుడు అనేకానేక దుఃఖములకు గురి యగును. కావున సురనాయిక అగు శ్రీమాత నారాధించుట వలన అసుర ప్రజ్ఞలు హద్దులలో నుండును. సుర ప్రజ్ఞలు స్ఫూర్తి నిచ్చి జీవునికి సహకరించుచూ దివ్య లోకానుభవము కలిగించును. అసురులు, సురలు కూడ శ్రీమాత సంతానమే. ఆమెకు ఇరువురునూ సమానమే. కాని అసురులు హద్దులు మీరకుండుట కొఱకై సురలకు నాయికగ నిలచును. అందులకే ఆమె సురనాయిక.*

Therefore, due to the worship of Suranaika Srimata, the powers of the Asuras are out of bounds. Sura Prajna inspires and helps the living being to experience the divine world. Asuras and Suras are also offspring of Sri Mata. Both are equal to her. But the Asuras want you to have boundaries and stand as the leader of the Suras. That is why she is Suranaika.*

🌷. తాత్పర్యం :

*నేను ఆదిత్యులలో విష్ణువును, తేజస్సులలో ప్రకాశమానమైన సూర్యుడను, మరత్తులలో మరీచిని, నక్షత్రములలో చంద్రుడనై యున్నాను.*

🌷. భాష్యము :

*ఆదిత్యులు పన్నెండురు కలరు. వారిలో శ్రీకృష్ణుడు ప్రధానుడు. అకాశమునందు ప్రకాశించువానిలో సూర్యుడు ముఖ్యమైనవాడు. అతడు దేవదేవుని సముజ్జ్వలనేత్రముగా బ్రహ్మసంహిత యందు అంగీకరింపబడినాడు. ఆకాశమున ఏబదిరకముల వాయువులు వీచుచుండును. వాటికి అధిష్టానదేవతయైన మరీచి శ్రీకృష్ణుని ప్రతినిధి.*

*రాత్రి సమయమున నక్షత్రములందు ప్రదానుడైన చంద్రుడు శ్రీకృష్ణుని ప్రతినిధి. చంద్రుడు ఒకానొక నక్షత్రమని ఈ శ్లోకము ద్వారా గోచరించుచున్నది. అనగా ఆకాశమునందు మెరయు నక్షత్రములు కూడా సూర్యునికాంతినే ప్రతిబింబించుచున్నవి. విశ్వమునందు అనేక సూర్యులు కలరనెడి సిద్ధాంతమును వేదవాజ్మయము అంగీకరింపదు. సూర్యుడొక్కడే. సూర్యునికాంతిని ప్రతిబింబించుట ద్వారా చంద్రుడు వెలుగునట్లు, నక్షత్రములు కూడా వెలుతురును ప్రసరించుచున్నవి. చంద్రుడు నక్షత్రములలో ఒకడని భగవద్గీత ఇచ్చట తెలుపుచున్నందున ఆకాశమున మొరయు నక్షత్రములు చంద్రుని పోలినవే గాని సూర్యులు కానేరవు.*

🌷 Translation : 

*Of the Ādityas I am Viṣṇu, of lights I am the radiant sun, of the Maruts I am Marīci, and among the stars I am the moon.*

🌹 Purport :

*There are twelve Ādityas, of which Kṛṣṇa is the principal. Among all the luminaries shining in the sky, the sun is the chief, and in the Brahma-saṁhitā the sun is accepted as the glowing eye of the Supreme Lord. There are fifty varieties of wind blowing in space, and of these winds the controlling deity, Marīci, represents Kṛṣṇa. Among the stars, the moon is the most prominent at night, and thus the moon represents Kṛṣṇa.*

*It appears from this verse that the moon is one of the stars; therefore the stars that twinkle in the sky also reflect the light of the sun. The theory that there are many suns within the universe is not accepted by Vedic literature. The sun is one, and as by the reflection of the sun the moon illuminates, so also do the stars. Since Bhagavad-gītā indicates herein that the moon is one of the stars, the twinkling stars are not suns but are similar to the moon.*

*🌻. స్నానతర్పణాది విధి కధనము - 5 🌻*

*పిమ్మట అఘమర్షణము చేయవలెను. కుడిచేతిలో బోధరూప శివమయ మగు ఉదకము పోసికొని, ముక్కు దగ్గరకు తీసికొనిపోయి, (వామ) ఇడానాడి ద్వారా శ్వాస పీల్చి లోపల నిలిపి, లోపలినుండి నల్లని పాప పురుషుని (దక్షిణ) పింగళానాడి ద్వారా బైటకు తీసికొని వచ్చి ఆ జలమునందు స్థాపించవలెను. ఆ పాపపురుషునితో కూడిన జలమును, ఒక వజ్రమయ శిలను భావన చేసి, దానిపై పడవేసి చంపవలెను. దీనితో అఘమర్షణము సంపన్న మగును. పిమ్మట కుశ - పుష్ప - అక్ష తలతో కూడిన జలముతో అర్ఘ్యాంజలి పట్టి దానిని ''ఓం నమః శివాయ స్వాహా'' అను మంత్రముతో శివునకు సమర్పించి యథాశక్తిగ గాయత్రీ మంత్రము జపింపవలెను.*

*ఇపుడు తర్పణవిధిని చెప్పెదను. దేవతలకు వారి నామ మంత్రముల నుచ్చరించుచు, దేవతీర్థము ద్వారా తర్పణము చేయవలెను. ''ఓం హూం శివాయ స్వాహా'' అని చెప్పి శివునకు తర్పణమీయవలెను. ఇతర దేవతలకు కూడ ఈ విధముగనే వారి వారి పేర్లకు ''స్వాహా'' చేర్చి తర్పణము లీయవలెను. ''ఓం హాం హృదయాయ నమః, ఓం హీం శిరసే స్వాహా; ఓం హూం శిఖాయై వషట్‌; ఓం హై కవచాయ హుం; ఓం హౌం నేత్రత్రయాయ వౌషట్‌; ఓం హః అస్త్రాయ ఫట్‌'' అను వాక్యము లుచ్చరించుచు క్రమముగ హృదయ - శిరః - శిఖా - కవచ - నేత్ర - అస్త్రన్యాసములు చేయవలెను. ఎనిమిది దేవగణములకు వారి పేర్ల చివర నమః అను పదము చేర్చి తర్పణము చేయవలెను. ''ఓం హాం ఆదిత్యేభ్యో నమః; ఓం హాం వసుభ్యో నమః; ఓం హాం రుద్రేభ్యో నమః; ఓం హాం విశ్వేభ్యో దేవేభ్యో నమః; ఓం హాం మరుద్భ్యో నమః; ఓం మాం భృగుభ్యో నమః, ఓం హాం అంగిరోభ్యో నమః'' - ఈ విధముగ చేయవలెను. పిమ్మట యజ్ఞోపవీతమును కంఠమునందు మాల వలె ధరించి (ఉపవతి) ఋషితర్పణము చేయవలెను. ''ఓం హాం అత్రయే నమః; ఓం హాం విశ్వామిత్రాయ నమః; ఓం హాం ప్రచేతసే నమః; ఓం హాం మరీచయే నమః'' అను మంత్రములు పఠించుచు అత్ర్యాది ఋషులకు ఋషితీర్థము ద్వారా తర్పణములు చేయవలెను.*

*Chapter 72*

*🌻 Mode of bathing and daily worship (snāna-viśeṣa) - 5🌻*

37. That water should then be ejected into the right palm after having conceived it as black in colour because of the redemption of one’s sins. It should be thrown on a stone slab. This is known to be the aghamarṣaṇa (redeeming from sin) rite.

38. Then one should repeat the gāyatrī mantra as many times as possible after having offered the respectful arghya consisting, of kuśa, flowers and unbroken rice to Śiva with the mantras of Śiva ending with (the syllable) svāhā (oblation).

39. I shall describe the offering of water oblations to the god. One should utter the mantra Śivāya svāhā (oblations to Śiva) and offer water. (The syllable) svāhā should be repeated in all cases.

40. (The nyāsa should be done as) hrāṃ, to the heart; hrīṃ, to the head; hrūṃ, to the tuft of hair; hraiṃ, to the armour and the weapons, (or in the alternative), the eight gods (can be located) in the heart and other limbs).

41-44. (The water oblations should be performed for the following gods)—hrāṃ, to the Vasus, Rudras, Viśve (devas), (to the sages)—hāṃ to Bhṛgus, Aṅgirās, Atri; salutation to Vasiṣṭha, Pulastya, Kratu, Bhāradvāja; salutations to Viśvāmitra, to Pracetas; vaṣaṭ to Sanaka; hāṃ vaṣaṭ to Sananda, vaṣaṭ to Sanātana, vaṣaṭ to Sanatkumāra; vaṣaṭ to Kapila, to Pañcaśikha, (the ceremony being done) with the fingers of the right hand placed at the elbow joint of the left.

*విద్య వెనుక ఉన్న ప్రాథమిక తత్వం ఏమిటంటే 'అనుభవ స్థితిలో ఉన్న ఆ స్థాయి వాస్తవికతకి భంగం కలిగించకూడదు.' అని. భగవద్గీత ఇలా ఉద్బోధిస్తుంది: “అజ్ఞానుల విశ్వాసం చెదర కొట్టకూడదు” అయితే జ్ఞాని అజ్ఞానులకు జ్ఞానాన్ని అందించే పనిని చేస్తాడు. విద్య యొక్క ఏ దశలోనూ విద్యార్థి యొక్క స్థాయిని విస్మరించలేము. అయితే ఇది ఉన్నత స్థాయి జ్ఞానంతో పోల్చితే సరిపోని స్థాయి అని పరిగణించవచ్చు.*

*విద్య అనేది ఒక పూల మొగ్గ వికసించే కళాత్మక ప్రక్రియను పోలి ఉంటుంది. ఇది క్రమంగా మరియు అందంగా ఉంటుంది. ఏదైనా అనవసరమైన శక్తిని ప్రయోగించడం ద్వారా మొగ్గ అకస్మాత్తుగా తెరవబడదు; అలా చేస్తే అది వికసించదు, విరిగిపోతుంది. అటువంటి విరిగిన నిర్మాణం వల్ల ఎటువంటి ప్రయోజనం లేదు. ఉపాధ్యాయుడు ఎల్లప్పుడూ విద్యార్థి వెనుక దాగి ఉంటాడు, అయినా అతను ఎల్లప్పుడూ విద్యార్థితోనే ఉన్నాడు. ఆ విద్యార్థి ఏర్పరచుకునే భావజాలలో అతను భాగస్వామి కాకూడదు.*

*🌻 14. The Faith of the Ignorant is not to be Shaken 🌻*

*The basic psychology behind education should be “not to disturb the degree of reality involved in any state of experience.” The Bhagavadgita exhorts: “The faith of the ignorant is not to be shaken” while the wise one performs the function of imparting knowledge to the ignorant. The standpoint of the student in any stage of education cannot be ignored, though it may be regarded as an inadequate standpoint in comparison with a higher level of knowledge.*

*Education is similar to the artistic process of the blossoming of a flower bud, gradually and beautifully. The bud is not to be opened suddenly by exerting any undue force; else, it would not be a blossom, but a broken structure serving no purpose. The teacher is always to be hidden behind the student, though he is with the student at all times. He is not to come to the forefront, either as a superior or an unpleasant ingredient among the constituents that go to form the feelings, aspirations and needs of the student at any particular level.*

*🍀. విశ్వం శాశ్వతమైతే మనము శాశ్వతమే. అందుకనే ప్రాచ్యంలో 'అహం బ్రహ్మస్మి' అన్నారు.అంటే నేనే దేవుణ్ణి అని అర్థం. నేనే సత్యం' అని అర్థం. ఇవన్నీ అద్భుతమయిన తీర్మానాలు. వాటిని అనుభూతి చెందు. 🍀*

*విశ్వం విశాలమైంది. హద్దులు లేనిది. దాంట్లో భాగాలం కనక మనమూ సరిహద్దులు లేని వాళ్ళమే. అనంత విశ్వంలోని అపూర్వ లక్షణాలు మనలోనూ వున్నాయి. చిన్ని ఫార్ములాని గమనించు. సమస్తం శాశ్వతమయితే భాగాలు ఎప్పటికీ అశాశ్వతం కావు. అట్లాగే విశ్వం శాశ్వతమైతే మనము శాశ్వతమే. అందుకనే ప్రాచ్యంలో 'అహం బ్రహ్మస్మి' - అంటే నేనే దేవుణ్ణి అని అర్థం. నేనే సత్యం' అని అర్థం. ఇవన్నీ అద్భుతమయిన తీర్మానాలు. అవి మానవజాతి తరపున తీర్మానాలు. ఇవి అహంకార పూరితాలు కావు. అవి వాస్తవ ప్రకటనలు. వాటిని అనుభూతి చెందు. ఆద్యంతాలు లేని అనంతంలో నువ్వు భాగం. అపుడు నువ్వు తెలికపడతావు. నీ అల్పమయిన కష్టాలు, బాధలు వదిలిపెడతావు. నీ వైశాల్యంలో అవి అతి అల్పమైనవి. అవి లెక్కించాల్సినవి కావు.*

"గురువునూ, గోవిందుడిని పక్కనపెట్టి ముందు ఎవరికి నమస్కారం చేస్తావంటే, గురువుకే నమస్కరించాలి అంటారు. కారణం గోవిందుడు వున్నాడని చెప్పింది గురువే కదా" అన్నారు భక్త కబీర్. ఈ మాట సదా స్మరణీయం. ఈ మాట అందించిన వారు మనకు గురువే. మంచిని చెప్పినవాడు, నేర్పినవాడు, చూపినవాడు మనకి గురువే అని చెప్తున్న మన సనాతన ధర్మానికి వందనాలు.*

*తాత్పర్యము : పాపక్షయము కొరకై కర్మ ఫలములను అన్నింటిని భగవంతునకు అర్పించుటయే తన కర్తవ్యము అని భావించుచు, ప్రతిఫలాపేక్ష లేకుండా స్వామి - సేవక భావముతో సేవించువాడు "సాత్త్విక భక్తుడు" అనబడును.*

*వ్యాఖ్య : బ్రాహ్మణులు, క్షత్రియులు, వైశ్యులు మరియు శూద్రులు, బ్రహ్మచారిలు, గృహస్థులు, వానప్రస్థులు మరియు సన్యాసిలతో పాటు, వర్ణాల యొక్క ఎనిమిది విభాగాలలో సభ్యులు మరియు ఆశ్రమ ధర్మాలను నిర్వహించడం కోసం వారు తమ సత్సంబంధాలను కలిగి ఉంటారు. అటువంటి కార్యకలాపాలు నిర్వహించి, వాటి ఫలితాలను భగవంతుడికి సమర్పించినప్పుడు, వాటిని కర్మార్పణం అంటారు, భగవంతుని సంతృప్తి కోసం చేసే విధులు. ఏదైనా అసమర్థత లేదా దోషం ఉన్నట్లయితే, ఈ సమర్పణ ప్రక్రియ ద్వారా అది పరిహరింప బడుతుంది. కానీ ఈ నైవేద్య ప్రక్రియ స్వచ్ఛమైన భక్తితో కాకుండా మంచి అనే పద్ధతిలో ఉంటే, అప్పుడు ఆసక్తి భిన్నంగా ఉంటుంది. నాలుగు ఆశ్రమాలు మరియు నాలుగు వర్ణాలు తమ వ్యక్తిగత ప్రయోజనాలకు అనుగుణంగా కొంత పనిచేస్తాయి. అందువల్ల అటువంటి కార్యకలాపాలు మంచితనం యొక్క రీతిలో ఉంటాయి; వాటిని స్వచ్ఛమైన భక్తి వర్గంలో లెక్కించలేము. స్వచ్ఛమైన భక్తి సేవ భౌతిక కోరికల నుండి విముక్తి పొందింది. వ్యక్తిగత లేదా వస్తుపరమైన ఆసక్తికి ఎటువంటి సాకు ఉండదు. భక్తి కార్యకలాపాలు ఫలప్రదమైన కార్యకలాపాలకు మరియు అనుభావిక తాత్విక ఊహలకు అతీతంగా ఉండాలి. స్వచ్ఛమైన భక్తి సేవ అన్ని భౌతిక గుణాలకు అతీతమైనది.*

*10. karma-nirhāram uddiśya parasmin vā tad-arpaṇam*

*yajed yaṣṭavyam iti vā pṛthag-bhāvaḥ sa sāttvikaḥ*

*MEANING : When a devotee worships the Supreme Personality of Godhead and offers the results of his activities in order to free himself from the inebrieties of fruitive activities, his devotion is in the mode of goodness.*

*PURPORT : The brāhmaṇas, kṣatriyas, vaiśyas and śūdras, along with the brahmacārīs, gṛhasthas, vānaprasthas and sannyāsīs, are the members of the eight divisions of varṇas and āśramas, and they have their respective duties to perform for the satisfaction of the Supreme Personality of Godhead. When such activities are performed and the results are offered to the Supreme Lord, they are called karmārpaṇam, duties performed for the satisfaction of the Lord. If there is any inebriety or fault, it is atoned for by this offering process. But if this offering process is in the mode of goodness rather than in pure devotion, then the interest is different. The four āśramas and the four varṇas act for some benefit in accordance with their personal interests. Therefore such activities are in the mode of goodness; they cannot be counted in the category of pure devotion. Pure devotional service is free from all material desires. There can be no excuse for personal or material interest. Devotional activities should be transcendental to fruitive activities and empiric philosophical speculation. Pure devotional service is transcendental to all material qualities.*

*చక్కగా ఆర్ద్రత నందును. ఈ 'సుంద' శబ్దము కూడ ఆర్ద్రీభావమును తెలుపును. అనగా 'కరుణాకరః' - కరుణకు ఆకారము వంటివాడు; దయకు గని వంటివాడు. చాల దయ కలవాడు అని అర్థము.*

*('ఉందీ - క్లేదనే' అనగా 'ఆర్ద్రత - తడిగానుండును' అను ధాతువు నుండి పచాది ధాతువులనుండి రాదగు 'అచ్‍' ప్రత్యయము రాగా, ఉంద్ + అ 'ఉందః' అగును. సు + ఉంద కలియగా సవర్ణములగు రెండు ఉకారముల కలయికచే దీర్ఘమురాగా 'సూంద' అని కావలసియుండగా పరరూపము - అనగా రెండవ పదముయొక్క మొదటనున్న 'ఉ' ఆదేశము అయి 'సుందః' అగుట. ఇది వృషోదరాది గణమునందలి శబ్దము కాగా జరిగినది.)*

*జలంధరా! మహావీరా! రాక్షసులందరికీ సహాయమును చేయువాడా! జరిగిన వృత్తాంతము నంతనూ యథాతథముగా చెప్పెదను. వినుము (9). పూర్వము బలవంతుడు, వీరుడు, విరోచనుని కూమారుడు, హిరణ్యకశిపుని మునిమనుమడు, గొప్ప ధర్మవేత్త అగు బలి యనువాడు ఒకడు ఉండెను (10). స్వార్థ సంపాదనలో ఘనులగు దేవతలు వానిచే ఓడింపబడి ఇంద్రునితో గూడి లక్ష్మీ పతిని శరణు జొచ్చి తమ వృత్తాంతమును చెప్పిరి (11). తరువాత ఆయన ఆజ్ఞచే రాక్షసులు దేవతలతో సంధిని కుదుర్చుకొనిరి. మోసపుచ్చుటలో పండితులగు దేవతలు తమ కార్యమును చక్కబెట్టుకొనుట కొరకై అట్లు చేసిరి. వత్సా! *తరువాత రాక్షసులకు శత్రువులగు దేవతలు యోజన చేసి శ్రేష్ఠవస్తువులను గొని పోయిరి. మరియు మోసము చేసి అమృతమును త్రాగిరి (14). మరియు విష్ణువు యొక్క సాహాయ్యముతో అమృతమును త్రాగి బలమును పొందిన ఆ దేవతలు రాక్షసులను పరాభవించిరి. విఫ్ణవు యొక్క చమ్రు వారికి సహాయపడెను (15). నిత్యము ఇంద్రుని పక్షమును వహించు విష్ణువు, దేవతల ప్రక్కన చేరి అమృతమును త్రాగుచున్న రాహువు యొక్క శిరస్సును నరికివేసెను (16).*

Bhārgava said:—

9. O Jalandhara, O great hero, O benefactor of the Asuras, listen to the account. I shall relate everything exactly as it had happened.

10. Once there was a strong hero Bali, the son of Virocana and great-grandson of Hiraṇyakaśipu. He was foremost among the virtuous.

11. The gods including Indra being defeated by him sought refuge in Viṣṇu. Eager to gain their ends they told him all details.

12. O dear, at his bidding, the gods, very clever in deception, made an alliance with the Asuras, to further their own interest.

13. All those gods, the assistants of Viṣṇu churned the ocean eagerly for the gain of nectar, along with the Asuras.

14. The enemies of the Asuras extracted jewels from the ocean. The gods seized the nectar and drank it deceitfully.

15. Then the gods including Indra increased in strength and prowess by the drinking of the nectar and harassed the Asuras with the assistance of Viṣṇu.

16. This Viṣṇu who is always a partisan of Indra, cut off the head of Rahu as he was drinking the nectar along with the gods.

*🕉. నవ్వడానికి కారణాల కోసం ఎందుకు వేచి ఉండాలి? జీవితమే నవ్వడానికి తగినంత కారణం కావాలి. ఇది చాలా అసంబద్ధమైనది, చాలా హాస్యాస్పదమైనది. ఇది చాలా అందంగా ఉంటుoది, చాలా అద్భుతంగా ఉంటుంది! ఇది అన్ని రకాల విషయాలు కలిసి ఉంటుంది. ఇది గొప్ప విశ్వ హాస్యం. 🕉*

*మీరు అనుమతిస్తే నవ్వు అనేది ప్రపంచంలో అత్యంత సులభమైన విషయం, కానీ అది కష్టంగా మారింది. ప్రజలు చాలా అరుదుగా నవ్వుతారు మరియు వారు నవ్వినప్పుడు కూడా అది నిజం కాదు. వారు ఎవరిపట్లో బాధ్యత వహిస్తున్నట్లు, ఎదో కర్తవ్యం నిర్వర్తి స్తున్నట్లు నవ్వుతారు. నవ్వు సరదాగా ఉంటుంది. మీరు ఎవరికీ బాధ్యత వహించడం లేదు! మరొకరిని సంతోషపెట్టడానికి మీరు నవ్వకూడదు, ఎందుకంటే మీరు సంతోషంగా లేకుంటే, మీరు మరొకరిని సంతోషపెట్టలేరు.*

*నవ్వడానికి కారణాల కోసం ఎదురు చూడకుండా మీరు మీ ఇష్టానుసారంగా నవ్వాలి. మీరు విషయాన్ని చూడటం మొదలుపెడితే, మీరు నవ్వు ఆపుకోలేరు. ప్రతిఒక్కటి నవ్వుకి తగినదే - ఏమీ లోటు లేదు - కాని మనం ఒప్పుకోము. నవ్వు గురించి, ప్రేమ గురించి, జీవితం గురించి మనం చాలా లోభత్వం. ఆ లోభత్వాన్ని వదులుకోవచ్చని మీకు తెలిసిన తర్వాత, మీరు వేరే కోణంలోకి వెళతారు. నవ్వడమే అసలైన మతం. మిగతావన్నీ మెటాఫిజిక్స్ మాత్రమే.*

*🕉 . Why wait for reasons to laugh? Life as it is should be reason enough to laugh. It is so absurd, it is so ridiculous. It is  so beautiful,so wonderful! It is all sorts of things together.  It is a great cosmic joke.   🕉*

*Laughter is the easiest thing in the world if you allow it, but it has become hard. People laugh very rarely, and even when they laugh it is not true. People laugh as if they are obliging somebody, as if they are fulfilling a certain duty. Laughter is fun. You are not obliging anybody! You should not laugh to make somebody else happy, because if you are not happy, you cannot make anybody else happy. *

*You should simply laugh of your own accord, without waiting for reasons to laugh. If you start looking into things, you will not be able to stop laughing. Everything is simply perfect for laughter-nothing is lacking-but we won't allow it. We are very miserly ... miserly about laughter, about love, about life. Once you know that miserliness can be dropped, you move into a different dimension. Laughter is the real religion. Everything else is just metaphysics.*

*దేహము అసుర ప్రజ్ఞలతోను, అందు పనిచేయు ప్రజ్ఞలు సుర ప్రజ్ఞలతోను నిండియుండును. దేహాత్మ భావన గల జీవుని యందు సహజముగ అసుర ప్రజ్ఞలే ఎక్కువగ వర్తించు చుండును. వారి యందలి సుర ప్రజ్ఞలు మేల్కాంచి జీవునికి వికాసము కలిగించవలె నన్నచో శ్రీమాత నారాధించుట నిజమగు ఉపాయము. దైవమును ఆరాధన చేయని వారియందు స్థూల ప్రజ్ఞలే మెండుగ బలము కలిగి యుండును. పురాణము లందు తెలుపబడిన దేవాసుర యుద్ధము లన్నియూ జీవుని యందు నిత్యమూ సాగుచునే యున్నవి. జ్ఞానము, అజ్ఞానముల ఘర్షణముల నుండి జీవుడు ఉత్తీర్ణుడగుటకు దేవతారాధనము ప్రధానము. అంతర్యామి యగు దైవము నిత్యమారాధించు వారి యందు దేవతా ప్రజ్ఞలు క్రమముగ మేల్కాంచి అసుర ప్రజ్ఞలను హద్దులలో నుంచును.*
