*25. nābhi-hradaṁ bhuvana-kośa- guhodara-sthaṁ yatrātma-yoni-dhiṣaṇākhila- loka-padmam*
*vyūḍhaṁ harin-maṇi-vṛṣa-stanayor amuṣya dhyāyed dvayaṁ viśada-hāra-mayūkha-gauram*
*MEANING : The yogī should then meditate on His moonlike navel in the center of His abdomen. From His navel, which is the foundation of the entire universe, sprang the lotus stem containing all the different planetary systems. The lotus is the residence of Brahmā, the first created being. In the same way, the yogī should concentrate his mind on the Lord's nipples, which resemble a pair of most exquisite emeralds and which appear whitish because of the rays of the milk-white pearl necklaces adorning His chest.*
*PURPORT : The yogī is advised next to meditate upon the navel of the Lord, which is the foundation of all material creation. Just as a child is connected to his mother by the umbilical cord, so the first-born living creature, Brahmā, by the supreme will of the Lord, is connected to the Lord by a lotus stem. In the previous verse it was stated that the goddess of fortune, Lakṣmī, who engages in massaging the legs, ankles and thighs of the Lord, is called the mother of Brahmā, but actually Brahmā is born from the abdomen of the Lord, not from the abdomen of his mother. These are inconceivable conceptions of the Lord, and one should not think materially, "How can the father give birth to a child?"*
*It is explained in the Brahma-saṁhitā that each limb of the Lord has the potency of every other limb; because everything is spiritual, His parts are not conditioned. Any organ of His transcendental body can function as any other organ. His abdomen is the foundation of all the planetary systems. Brahmā holds the post of the creator of all planetary systems, but his engineering energy is generated from the abdomen of the Lord. Any creative function in the universe always has a direct connecting link with the Lord.*

*ఇటువంటి మమాదివ్యమైన, అనేకములగు ఆశ్చర్యములతో కూడియున్న రథమయునకు వేదములనే గుర్రములను పూన్చి బ్రహ్మ శివునకు అర్పించెను (1). దేవదేవుడు, విష్ణువు మొదలగు దేవతలచే కొలువబడువాడు, శూలధారి యగు శంభుని పరిపరివిధముల స్తుతించి బ్రహ్మ ఆయనను రథమును అధిష్టింపజేసెను (20). సర్వదేవతా స్వరూపుడు, మహాప్రభుడునగు శంభుడు అపుడు రథసామగ్రితో కూడిన ఆ దివ్య రథమును అధిష్టించెను (3). అపుడాయనను ఋషులు, దేవతలు, గంధర్వులు, నాగులు, విష్ణువు, బ్రహ్మ మరియు లోకపాలకులు స్తుతించిరి (4). సంగీతకుశలురగు అప్సరసల గణములు చుట్టు వారి యుండగా, సారథియగు బ్రహ్మను గాంచినవాడై, వరములనిచ్చు ఆ శంభుడు విరాజిల్లెను (5). లోకములోని వస్తువులచే రచింపబడిన ఆ రతమును శివుడు అధిరోహించగానే, వేదముల నుండి పుట్టిన గుర్రములు శిరస్సులై గూలినవి (6).*
*భూమి కంపించెను. పర్వతములన్నియు చలించినవి. శివుని భారమును సహించలేక శేషుడు శీఘ్రమే భయ విహ్వలుడై కదలాడి పోయెను (7). అపుడు భూమిని మ్రోయు శేష భగవానుడు గొప్ప ఎద్దురూపముతో ఆ రథము క్రిందకు జేరి క్షణములో దానిని పైకి ఎత్తి నిలబెట్టెను (8). కాని రథము నదిష్ఠించియున్న మహేశ్యరుని గొప్ప తేజస్సును సహింప జాలక ఆయన కూడ మరుక్షణమలో మోకాళ్లపై నేలగూలెను (9).*

Sanatkumāra said:—
1. Brahmā handed over that divine chariot of various wonderful features to Śiva after yoking the Vedas as the horses.
2. After dedicating the same to Śiva, he requested Śiva the lord of the gods, approved by Viṣṇu and other gods to mount the chariot.
3. The great lord Śiva identifying himself with all the gods got into that chariot that had various scaffoldings attached to it.
4. He was then eulogised by the gods, Gandharvas, serpents, sages, Viṣṇu, Brahmā and the guardians of the quarters.
5-6. Śiva, the granter of boons, surrounded by the groups of damsels, experts in music, shone well. Glancing at the charioteer when he mounted the chariot concocted with everything in the world, the horses constituted by the Vedas fell headlong to the ground.
7. The earth quaked. The mountains became tremulous. Śeṣa, unable to bear his weight, became distressed and soon began to tremble.
8. Lord Viṣṇu assumed the form of a lordly bull and went under the chariot. He lifted it up and steadied it for a short while.
9. But in another instant, unable to bear the weighty splendour of lord Śiva seated in the chariot, the lordly bull had to kneel down and crawl on the ground.

*"Resist not evil." Even evil should not be resisted, because resistance is the only evil, the only sin. When you resist something it means you are separating yourself from the whole. You are trying to become an island, separate, divided. You are condemning, judging, saying this is not right, that should not be so. Resistance means you have taken a posture of judgment. If you don't resist, then there is no separation between you and the energy that is moving around. Suddenly you are with it--so much so that you are not; only the energy is moving, So learn to cooperate with things that are going on; don't put yourself against the whole.*
*By and by you start feeling a tremendous new energy that comes by walking in step with the whole, because in resistance you dissipate energy. In nonresistance you absorb energy. That is the whole Eastern attitude about life: Accept and don't resist, surrender and don’t fight. Don't try to be victorious, and don't try to be the first. Lao Tzu has said, "Nobody can defeat me, because I have accepted defeat and I am not hankering for any victory." How can you defeat anyone who is not hankering for any victory? How can you defeat an unambitious person? How can you kill a person who is ready to die? It is impossible. Through this surrender, one comes to be victorious... Let this be an insight: Don't waste time in resisting.*

'లోల' మనగా పూర్ణ కామము. ఇంద్రియలోలురు ఇంద్రియముల ద్వారా ఇంద్రియార్థముల యందు పరవశము చెందినట్లు దైవలోలురు దైవము నందట్లే తన్మయము చెందుదురు. లోలత్వము దివ్యగుణము. దేనిపై లోలత్వము కలిగిన అది సిద్ధించును. అట్లే ఆత్మకాములు ఆత్మ మూలము నందు లోలత్వము కలిగి యుండుటయే ధ్యానము. అట్టి ధ్యానమున వారు పరమును పొందుచున్నారు. ఇట్లు దేహము నుండి దైవము వరకు గల సమస్త లోకములందు జీవులు వారి ఆసక్తి కోరికలను బట్టి తిరుగుచు నున్నారు. వసించు చున్నారు.*
