మేము ప్రకృతి నుండి పుట్టితిమి. ఇతడు కూడా ప్రకృతి నుండి పుట్టినాడు గాన నిశ్చయముగా పూజ్యుడు. గణేశుడు విఘ్నములను పారద్రోలి, కొర్కెలనన్నిటినీ ఈడేర్చును (22). మానవులు ముందుగా ఇతనిని పూజించి తరువాత మమ్ములను పూజించవలెను. ఇతనిని పూజించనిచో, మలో ఎవ్వరినైననూ పూజించినట్లు గాదు (23). 

ఇతనిని పూజించకుండగా ఇతర దేవతలను పూజించినచో, ఆ ఫలము లభించదు. ఓ దేవతలారా! ఈ విషయములో సందేహించకుడు (24). ఇట్లు పలికి ముందుగా శివుడు, తరువాత విష్ణువు ఆ గణేశుని ఆదరముగా అనేక వస్తువలతో పూజించిరి (25).

20. We three Śiva, Viṣṇu and I said to the gods simultaneously with pleasure, after granting him excellent boons

21. “O great gods, just as we three are worshipped in all the three worlds, so also he shall be worshipped by all of you.”

22. We are the offsprings of primordial nature. He is also the same and hence worthy of worship. He is the remover of all obstacles and the bestower of the fruits of all rites.

23. He shall be worshipped first and we shall be worshipped afterwards. If he is not worshipped, we too are not worshipped.

24. If the other deities are worshipped when he is not worshipped, the fruit of that rite will be lost. There is no doubt in this matter.

25. After saying this we worshipped him. Śiva worshipped Gaṇeśa with various articles of worship. Viṣṇu worshipped him afterwards.

🌷. తాత్పర్యం :

*నన్ను సంపూర్ణముగా ఎరుగని మందబుద్ధులు దేవదేవుడైన నేను(శ్రీకృష్ణుడు) తొలుత నిరాకారుడనై యుండి ఇప్పుడు ఈ రూపమును దాల్చితినని తలతురు. అల్పజ్ఞత వలన వారు నాశరహితమును మరియు అత్యుత్తమమును అగు నా దివ్యభావమును ఎరుగలేరు.*

🌷. భాష్యము :

దేవతలను పూజించువారు అల్పజ్ఞులు లేదా బుద్ధిహీనులని పైన వర్ణింపబడినారు. నిరాకారవాదులు సైతము అదేవిధముగా ఇచ్చట వర్ణింపబడిరి. దేవదేవుడైన శ్రీకృష్ణుడు తన స్వీయరూపమున అర్జునుని ఎదుట సంభాషించుచున్నను నిరాకారవాదులు తమ అజ్ఞానకారణముగా భగవానుడు రూపరహితుడనియు వాదింతురు. శ్రీరామానుజాచార్యుల పరంపరలో నున్న పరమభక్తుడైన శ్రీయమునాచార్యులు ఈ విషయమున ఒక చక్కని శ్లోకమును ఇట్లు రచించియుండిరి.

త్వాం శీలరూపచరితై: పరమప్రకృష్టై:

సత్త్వేన సాత్త్వికతయా ప్రబలైశ్చ శాస్త్రై: |

ప్రఖ్యాతదైవపరమార్థవిదాం మతైశ్చ

నైవాసురప్రకృతయ: ప్రభవన్తి బోద్ధుమ్  

“హే ప్రభూ! వ్యాసదేవుడు మరియు నారదుడు వంటి భక్తులు నీవు దేవదేవుడవని ఎరిగియున్నారు. వేదవాజ్మయమును అవగాహన చేసికొనుట ద్వారా నీ గుణములను, రూపమును, కర్మలను తెలిసికొని మనుజుడు నిన్ను దేవదేవుడని అవగతము చేసికొనగలడు. కాని రజస్తమోగుణములందున్న దానవులు మరియు అభక్తులు మాత్రము నిన్నెన్నడును ఎరుగజాలరు. వారు నిన్ను అవగాహన చేసికొనజాలకున్నారు. అభక్తులైనవారు వేదాంతమును, ఉపనిషత్తులను, ఇతర వేదవాజ్మయమును నిపుణతతో చర్చించినను ఆదిదేవుడవైన నిన్ను అవగాహన చేసికొనుట వారికి సాధ్యము కాదు.” (స్తోత్రరత్నము 12)

కేవలము వేదవాజ్మయమును అధ్యయనము చేయుట ద్వారా శ్రీకృష్ణభగవానుడు తెలియబడడని బ్రహ్మసంహిత యందు తెలుపబడినది. శ్రీకృష్ణుని గూర్చి తెలియుట కేవలము అతని కరుణతోనే సాధ్యము కాగలదు. కనుకనే దేవతలను పూజించువారే బుద్ధిహీనులు కాడనియు, కృష్ణభక్తిరసభావనము అనునది ఏమాత్రములేక కేవలము వేదాంతచర్చ మరియు వేదవాజ్మయముపై ఊహాకల్పనలు చేయు భక్తిహీనులు సైతము బుద్ధిహినులేయనియు ఈ శ్లోకమున స్పష్టముగా తెలుపబడినది. అట్టివారికి భగవానుని స్వీయరూపమును అవగతము చేసికొనుట సాధ్యముకాని విషయము. పరతత్త్వము అనుననది నిరాకారమనెడి భావనలో నున్నవారు “అబుద్ధులు” అని వర్ణింపబడిరి. అనగా వారు పరతత్త్వపు నిజరూపము తెలియనివారని భావము. దివ్యానుభవము యనునది నిరాకార బ్రహ్మానుభూతిలో ప్రారంభమై పిదప పరమాత్మానుభూతికి పురోగమించుననియు, కాని పరతత్త్వపు చరమానుభవము శ్రీకృష్ణభగవానుడే యనియు శ్రీమద్భాగవతమున తెలుపబడినది.

🌷 Translation : 

*Unintelligent men, who do not know Me perfectly, think that I, the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Kṛṣṇa, was impersonal before and have now assumed this personality. Due to their small knowledge, they do not know My higher nature, which is imperishable and supreme.*

🌹 Purport :

Those who are worshipers of demigods have been described as less intelligent persons, and here the impersonalists are similarly described. Lord Kṛṣṇa in His personal form is here speaking before Arjuna, and still, due to ignorance, impersonalists argue that the Supreme Lord ultimately has no form. Yāmunācārya, a great devotee of the Lord in the disciplic succession of Rāmānujācārya, has written a very appropriate verse in this connection. He says,

tvāṁ śīla-rūpa-caritaiḥ parama-prakṛṣṭaiḥ

sattvena sāttvikatayā prabalaiś ca śāstraiḥ

prakhyāta-daiva-paramārtha-vidāṁ mataiś ca

naivāsura-prakṛtayaḥ prabhavanti boddhum

“My dear Lord, devotees like Vyāsadeva and Nārada know You to be the Personality of Godhead. By understanding different Vedic literatures, one can come to know Your characteristics, Your form and Your activities, and one can thus understand that You are the Supreme Personality of Godhead. But those who are in the modes of passion and ignorance, the demons, the nondevotees, cannot understand You. They are unable to understand You. However expert such nondevotees may be in discussing Vedānta and the Upaniṣads and other Vedic literatures, it is not possible for them to understand the Personality of Godhead.”

8. The Matsya stone is long and has three dots. It is crystalline-coloured and is well formed. The Srīdhara (stone) has a garland of wild flowers and five lines and is circular.

9. The Vāmana (stone) is circular and is very short. It is. blue (coloured) and has a dot. The Trivikrama (stone) is black (coloured). It has a line on the right and a dot on the left side.

10. The Ananta (stone) has the mark of the hood of a serpent, it has variegated colours and manifold forms. The Dāmodara (stone) is big and has a disc in the middle part with two minute dots.

11. The Sudarśana (stone) has (the mark of) a disc. The Lakṣmīnārāyaṇa (stone) (is that which has the marks of) two discs. The Acyuta (stone) (has the marks of) three discs. Or the Trivikrama (stone) may have (the marks of) three discs.

12. The Janārdana (stone) has (the marks of) four discs. The Vāsudeva (stone) has (the marks of) five discs. The Pradyumna (stone) has (the marks of) six discs. The Saṅkarṣaṇa. (stone) has (the marks of) seven discs.

13. The Puruṣottama (stone) has (the marks) of eight discs. The Navavyūha form has the marks of nine discs. (The stone representing) the ten manifestations (of Viṣṇu) (is marked) with ten (discs). If we cannot experience the Absolute, we have to admit our defeat and ignorance.*

If Brahman has expressed itself as the world, then, the world cannot exist outside Brahman. How can it express itself when there is no space for it to express or expand? Even space is Brahman. 🌷. తాత్పర్యం :

*అల్పబుద్ధి కలిగిన మనుజులు దేవతలను పూజింతురు. కాని వారొసగెడి ఫలములు అల్పములు, తాత్కాలికములై యున్నవి. దేవతలను పూజించువారు దేవతాలోకములను చేరగా, నా భక్తులు మాత్రము అంత్యమున నా దివ్యలోకమునే చేరుదురు.*

🌷. భాష్యము :

ఇతరదేవతలను పూజించువారు కూడా శ్రీకృష్ణభగవానునే చేరుదురని భగవద్గీతా వ్యాఖ్యాతలు కొందరు పలుకుదురు. కాని దేవతలను పూజించువారు ఆ దేవతలు నివసించు లోకమునె చేరుదురని ఇచ్చట స్పష్టముగా తెలుపబడినది. అనగా సూర్యుని పూజించువారు సూర్యలోకమును చేరగా, చంద్రుని పూజించువారు చంద్రలోకమును చేరుదురు. అదే విధముగా ఇంద్రుని వంటి దేవతను పూజించినచో ఆ దేవతకు సంబంధించిన లోకమును మనుజుడు పొందగలడు. 

అంతియే గాని ఏ దేవతను పూజించినను చివరకు అందరును శ్రీకృష్ణభగవానునే చేరుదున్నది సత్యము కాదు. అట్టి భావనమిచ్చుట ఖండింపబడినది. అనగా దేవతలను పూజించువారు భౌతికజగమునందలి ఆయా దేవతలా లోకములను చేరగా, దేవదేవుడైన శ్రీకృష్ణుని భక్తులు మాత్రము ఆ భగవానుని దివ్యధామమునే నేరుగా చేరుచున్నారు.

*Men of small intelligence worship the demigods, and their fruits are limited and temporary. Those who worship the demigods go to the planets of the demigods, but My devotees ultimately reach My supreme planet.*

🌹 Purport :

Some commentators on the Bhagavad-gītā say that one who worships a demigod can reach the Supreme Lord, but here it is clearly stated that the worshipers of demigods go to the different planetary systems where various demigods are situated, just as a worshiper of the sun achieves the sun or a worshiper of the demigod of the moon achieves the moon. Similarly, if anyone wants to worship a demigod like Indra, he can attain that particular god’s planet. It is not that everyone, regardless of whatever demigod is worshiped, will reach the Supreme Personality of Godhead.

బ్రహ్మదేవా! సాలగ్రామాదులపై నుండు హరిమూర్తులను గూర్చి చెప్పదను. ఇది భోగ మోక్షముల నిచ్చునది. 

ద్వారము నందు రెండు చక్రములతో నల్లని సాలగ్రామము వాసుదేవుడు. 

రెండు చట్రములున్న ఎఱ్ఱని శాల గ్రామము సంకర్షణుడు. 

చిన్న చక్రము, అనేక రంధ్రములును ఉన్న నీలవర్ణ సాలగ్రామము ప్రద్యుమ్నుడు.

కమల చిహ్నము, గోలాకారము, పచ్చని రంగు, మూడురేఖలు ఉన్నది అనిరుద్ధుడు.

కమల-చక్రచిహ్నములు, పృష్ఠభాగమున రంధ్రము, బిందువు ఉన్న శాలగ్రామము పరమేష్ఠి. 

స్థూలమైన చక్రము మధ్య గద వంటి రేఖ ఉన్న శ్యామవర్ణమగు శాలగ్రామము విష్ణువు. 

స్థూలచక్రము ఐదు బిందువులు ఉన్న కపిలవర్ణ శాలగ్రామము నృసింహుడు.

శక్తి అను అస్త్రముగుర్తు, విషమములైన రెండు చక్రములు, మూడు స్థూల రేఖలు ఉన్న ఇంద్రనీలమణి వంటి రంగుగల శాలగ్రామము వరాహము. 

ఎత్తైన పృష్ఠ భాగము, గోలాకారమైన సుడి ఉన్న శ్యామవర్ణ శాలగ్రమము కూర్మము. 

అంకుశ రేఖలు, బిందువులు ఉన్న నీల వర్ణ శాలగ్రామము హయగ్రీవుడు.  

ఒక చక్రము, ఒక కమలము, పుచ్ఛాకారమేన రేఖలు ఉన్న, మణి వలె ప్రకాశించు శాలగ్రామము వైకుంఠుడు.

*🌻Characteristics of different Śālagrāma stones- 1 🌻*

The Lord said:

1. I shall describe (the characteristics of) the śālagrāma mūrti[1] (the different gods represented by different kinds of śālagrāma stones) which yield enjoyment and emancipation. (The stone called) Vāsudeva is black (coloured) around its mouth and has (marks) of two discs on it.

2. The Saṅkarṣaṇa (stone) is red (in colour) and has marks

3. The Aniruddha (stone) is yellow (in colour) and has the mark of a lotus. It is circular (in shape) and has two or three rays. The Nārāyaṇa (stone) is black (in colour) with an elevated, and deep hole.

4. The Parameṣṭi (stone) (has the marks of) the lotus and. disc. It is perforated at the back and has dots on the surface. The Viṣṇu (stone) has a big disc (mark). It is black (in colour). It has a line in the middle part. It is of the shape of a mace.

5-6. The Nṛsiṃha (stone) is tawny. It has (the mark of) a big disc and five dots. The Varāha (stone) is of the shape of the female divinity. It has unequal discs. It is of the colour of sapphire. It is large with the marks of three lines and is good. The Kūrma stone has an elevated hinder part with circular lines. and is black (in colour).

7. The Hayagrīva (stone) has a line of the shape of a good. It is blue (coloured) and is dotted. The Vaikuṇṭha (stone) has (the mark of) a disc and lotus. It has the radiance of a gem. It has tail-shaped lines.

*అనేకత్వాన్ని గుర్తించడమంటే సంపూర్ణతను తిరస్కరించడమే. అంటే దాని అర్థం సంపూర్ణత భిన్నత్వాన్ని తిరస్కరిస్తుందని కాదు. భిన్నత్వం సంపూర్ణతలో కరిగిపోయి తన ఉనికిని కోల్పోతుందని అర్థం. భేదాలను విస్మరించడం అంటే సంపూర్ణత యొక్క ఉనికిని తిరస్కరించడమే అని కొంతమంది వాదిస్తారు. సంపూర్ణమైనది భేదపూరితమైన వాస్తవికతపై ఆధారపడి ఉండదు. సాపెక్షాన్ని గుర్తించకపోవడం ద్వారా మనం సంపూర్ణతను ప్రభావితం చేయలేము.*

*కానీ మనం, తద్వారా, మన ప్రస్తుత చైతన్య స్థితిని మెరుగుపరచుకొగలుగుతాము. వ్యక్తిత్వం ప్రతి అణువులో ఉంటుంది. ఈ అహాలు ఎంత అవిభాజ్యమై ఉండాలంటే, విడిపాటు అనేది ఒక అసాధ్యమైన భావనగా మారాలి. అప్పుడు సంపూర్ణత యొక్క స్వభావం అవగతమౌతుంది. మనం అనేకత్వాన్ని గుడ్డిగా నొక్కిచెప్పవచ్చు, కానీ ఏదైనా ఆమోదయోగ్యమైన తార్కికం ద్వారా దానిని స్థాపించడం సాధ్యం కాదు.*

*To assert diversity is to deny absoluteness. It does not, however, mean that the Absolute excludes the diverse finitudes, but the finite is eternally dissolved in or is identical with the Absolute, and therefore, it does not claim for itself an individual reality. It is argued that to ignore differences is to reduce the Absolute to a non-entity. The Absolute does not depend upon the reality of egoistic differences. By cancelling the relative we may not affect the Absolute.*

*But we, so long as we are unconscious of the fundamental Being, improve thereby our present state of consciousness. Individuality is in every speck of space and these egos must be so very undivided that diversity becomes an impossible conception and homogeneity persists in every form of true reasoning in our effort to come to a conclusion in regard to the nature of the Absolute. *Śakti means energy. The word chakra is slightly complicated. The krama system accepts five powers of the Ultimate. They are creation, sustenance, annihilation, assumption of the indefinable state (anākhya) and freedom (bhāsā, the light, luster, brightness and impression made on the mind.). Krama system and bhāsā have been discussed in sūtrā 5 (Krama system says that purification of definitive idea is the means to the realization of the Ultimate.*

*It is the nature of indetermination where purification happens through successive stages from nothingness to perfect clarity). Out of the five mentioned above the first four are known as cakras. Sandhāna (derived from the word sandhiḥ (संधिः) means union, conjunction, connection, etc. Viśva means the universe and saṁhāraḥ means destruction.*

*'సన్‍' అను 'భూతి' అనగా 'అనుభూతి' ఎవని విషయమున గోచరము అగునో అట్టి పరమాత్మ సద్భూతిః అనబడుచున్నాడు.*

*సత్తా అను నామపు నిర్వచనము 'సన్‍' అను అనుభూతియే పరమాత్మ కావున పరమాత్మ త్రికాలాఽబాధితమగు అనుభూతియే - ఎన్నడును ఏ విధముగను త్రోసివేయ వీలుకాని అనుభూతి రూపమునుండు చిత్తత్త్వమే తన రూపముగా కలవాడు అని తేలుచున్నది. అనగా ఉనికి నుండి విడదీయరాని ఎరుకయే పరమాత్ముని రూపము కావున పరమాత్ముని విషయమున 'సద్భూతిః' అను నామము వర్తించదగియున్నదని భావము.*

प्रतीतेर्बाध्यमानत्वान्नसन्नाप्यसदेव सः ।

श्रौतोवा यौक्तिको बाधः प्रपञ्चस्य विवक्षितः ॥

*Sanneva paramātmā cidātma bodhāt svabhāsanāt,*

*Sādeva taiva sadbhūtir netaretyucyate budhaiḥ.*

*Pratīterbādhyamānatvānnasannāpyasadeva saḥ,*

*Śrautovā yauktiko bādhaḥ prapañcasya vivakṣitaḥ.*

*Sat is paramātmā of the nature of intelligence not being sublated and as it is shining, it is Sadbhūtiḥ. What is different from Sat i.e., Brahman, the world is not so as it appears and is sublated. As it appears, it is not asat or unreal; as it is sublated, it is not sat (Real). It is not sat nor is it asat.*

నారదుడిట్లు పలికెను -

ఓ ప్రజాపతీ! పార్వతీ తనయుడు జీవించెను ఆమె తన పుత్రుని చూచెను. ఆ తరువాత అచట ఏమాయెను? అ విషయమును దయతో ఇప్పుడు చెప్పుము (1).

బ్రహ్మ ఇట్లు పలికెను -

ఓ మహర్షీ! పార్వతీ తనయుడు జీవించెను. దేవి ఆతనిని చూచెను. ఆ తరువాత జరిగిన మహోత్సవమును గురించి నీకిపుడు చెప్పెదను (2). 

ఓ మునీ! జీవించిన ఆ పార్వతీ పుత్రుడు చింత గాని, వికారము గాని లేకుండ నుండెను. అపుడా గజాననుని దేవతలు, గణనాయకులు అభిషేకించిరి (3). పార్వతీదేవి తన కుమారుని చూచి ఆనందముతో నిండిన మనస్సు గలదై ఆ బాలకుని చేతులతో దగ్గరకు తీసుకొని ఆ లింగనము చేసుకొనెను (4). ఆ జగన్మాత తన పుత్రుడగు ఆ గణేశునకు వివిధ వస్త్రములను, అనేక అలంకారములను ప్రీతితో ఇచ్చెను (5).

ఆ దేవి గణేశుని ఆదరించి అనేక సిద్ధులను ఇచ్చి దుఃఖములనన్నిటినీ పోగొట్టే తన చేతితో ఆతనిని స్పృశించెను(6). శాంకరీ దేవి కుమారుని ఆదరించి ముఖమును ముద్దాడి ప్రీతితో వరములనిచ్చెను. ఆమె ఇట్లు పలికెను : నాయనా! నీకు ఇపుడు పుట్టుటతోడనే ఆపద కలిగినది (7). 

నీవు ధన్యుడవు కృతకృత్యుడవు. నిన్ను దేవతలందరు మున్ముందుగా పూజించెదరు. నీవు సర్వకాలముల యందు దుఃఖరహితుడవై ఉండెదవు (8). ఇపుడు నీ ముఖము నందు సిందూరము కనబడుచున్నది. కావున మానవులు నిన్ను సర్వదా సిందూరముతో పూజించెదరు (9).

Brahmā said:—

2. O great sage, when the son of Pārvatī was resuscitated and seen by the goddess, listen to what happened there. I shall narrate the jubilation that ensued.

3. O sage, that son of Pārvatī was resuscitated. He was free from distress and perturbation. Then he was crowned by the gods and the leaders of Gaṇas.

4. On seeing her son, Pārvatī was highly delighted. Taking him up with both her hands she embraced him joyously.

5. She then lovingly gave him different clothes and ornaments.

6. He was honoured by the goddess who bestowed all Siddhis on him and touched him with her hand that removes all distress.

7. After worshipping her son, and kissing his face, she granted him boons with affection and said—“You have had great distress since your very birth.

8. You are blessed and contented now. You will receive worship before all the gods. You will be free from distress.

9. Vermillion is visible on your face now. Hence you will be worshipped with vermillion by all men always.

*🕉. Love is an unconditioning. It simply takes away the old patterns and does not give you new ones. 🕉*

*It almost always happens that lovers become childlike-because love accepts you. It makes no demands on you. Love does not say, "Be this, be that." Love simply says, "Be yourself. You are good as you are. You are beautiful as you are." Love accepts you. Suddenly you start dropping your ideals, "shoulds," personalities. You drop your old skin, and again you become a child. Love makes people young.*

*The more you love, the younger you will remain. When you don't love you start becoming old, because when you don't love you lose contact with yourself. Love is nothing but coming in contact with yourself via the other, somebody who accepts you, who mirrors you as you are. Love can be the right situation in which to drop all conditioning. Love is an unconditioning. It simply takes away the old patterns and does not give you new ones. If it gives you a new pattern, it is not love, but politics.*

*ఉచ్చారణమున పుట్టునది శ్రీమాత అని అర్థము. సంకల్పము పరము నుండి కలిగినపుడు పశ్యంతి అగుచున్నది. భాష రూపమును దాల్చినపుడు మధ్యమ అగుచున్నది. ముఖము నుండి ఉచ్చరింపబడినపుడు వైఖరి యగుచున్నది. పరాస్థితి నుండి మూడు దశలలో వాక్కు ఉచ్చరింపబడు చున్నది. ఈ మూడు స్థితులను కలిపి ఉచ్చారణ అందురు. అట్లు పరావాక్కు గుహా ముఖము నుండి ఉచ్చరింపబడి వెలుగై నిలచును. గుహా ముఖ మనగా రహస్యమగు మార్గమునకు ద్వారము. ముఖద్వారమే గుహాముఖము. అవ్యక్తము నుండి వ్యక్తము లోనికిట్లు నిత్యము పరావాక్కు నిశ్వాస మార్గమున ఉచ్చరింపబడుచునే యున్నది. సృష్టి జరుగుచునే యున్నది. ఉచ్చ్వాస మార్గమున మరల ఉపసంహరింప బడుచునే యున్నది. ఈ నడుమ సృష్టి యున్నది.*

*What is born of the utterance is Srimata. When the will is from the Divine, Pasyanti is formed. When language takes form, it forms Madhyama. Vaikhari is formed when language is pronounced from the face. The speech is uttered in three stages from the Divine state. These three states are combined to form an utterance. Thus Paravakku is uttered from the secret cave and shines as light. The secret cave is the door to the secret path. The entrance itself is the secret cave. Paravakku is constantly being uttered through the breath from the unmanifest to the manifest. Creation is constantly happening. Retraction into the Divine continues to happen. This utterance from and retraction into the Divine keep on happening like inspiration and expiration. There is creation in the midst of this.*
